#venom#venom comics#marvel#marvel comics#venom dark origin#venom-ass-daily#this comic is okay#like its got some really ugly art#but like i think thats on purpose?#like idk its not exactly good ugly art but like#idk#i kinda like the story#i like the idea of eddie brock as like this pathological liar whos always in denial#like i think its kinda funny#but it does make me like eddie brock a lot less#AND this is the era where the symbiote is evil all the time so#i dont really like the symbiote in this comic#i REALLY like that one scene where Venom is talking to MJ and she says Peter would choose the suit over her#like i really like that#i think its a really interesting thing to explore#and i like how venom is really sinister in this comic#like hes got some real terrifying vibes its good#but like hes missing a lot of the funny#like hes not even dressed as a priest when he ties Spider Man up to the bell#how could they remove that#idk i guess this was like the “serious venom” era so#idk overall its an interesting take on the venom origin story#but not my favorite
