✅ What's something that appears in your fics over and over and over again, even if you don't mean to?

horror + angst + pain in some capacity (o_o ) even back in like 2017-2018 i looooved horror and horrible shit happening (you can dig far back in my ao3 + pseuds if youd like but i prommy ive changed now i prommy i pr)

i think in like 2018 i started a bn.ha fic where mido, ii.da, todo lost their fight with stain to Disastrous Results but thankfully i never finished it becos it wouldve been too edgy if i had ♡ also in 2018 i wrote fic for ff.ix and h.c where my faves died extremely tragic and horrible deaths, 2018-2019 i used to write fic for the strange men series and unfortunately i was a weirdo and stanned bren.don du.mont for Some Fucking Reason and wrote a pretty poorly written slash fic with him. not my best moment. im healed now though i promise. then waaaay way back in my accursed het.alia days, i wrote a wattpad fic placing every major he.ta character in a death game and just methodically killed them all in the most gruesome manner possible

un. sjbdndbf my more recent fics are lighter in nature and better written imo and i do have fic thats clean of horror elements but ive been habing fun writing misery so it leaks into my wips these days (.w. ;)

🎉 What leads you to consider a fic a success?

if it’s my own fic, it’s a success if when i reread it it makes me sad ♡ thats my own personal criteria

the standard is verrryy very low bc a lot of things make me sad, i get sad real easy even over things that arent saddening in any way, but this is my way of reaffirming to myself that wow my writing is pretty ok! it made me Feel Something! hit tweet

if it’s someone else’s fic, similar criteria but even more hilariously if it makes me jealous / envious of their writing, then i know its really good and i bookmark it for forever
