Bad, Beard, and Facts: dontcallmequeer beauty standards are all bad but one that sticks out to me is the idea that women should be free of body hair, because literally no-one has naturally no body hair like what are we trying to emulate here? dontcallmequeer oh, except childre dontcallmequeer oh Boom. Now with that being said it's important to know that flappers in the 1920s still rocked leg hair if they wanted to because they didn't care they were too busy being badass But you know, flappers were the outliers. People who followed fashion now had these magazines saying that the newest fashionable thing was this. Razor companies picked up on this fashion trend in the mid-1900s and were like, "Oh yeah. Shaving everything is awesome, women. You should shave everything and you should buy our razors to do so." And since it's historically proven that people follow trends, women shaved everything for decades and still do. Give it a few years and suddenly looking like Cousin It from Addams Family will be the newest trend Now obviously this simplifies things because yes, there are extremely sexist men out there who have bought into these capitalistic fashion trends and somehow have gotten it ingrained that yes, in order to look sexy, women do need to shave because gosh gee golly dee this newspaper says so. But it's no different than men seeing an ad for makeup or a new dress and being like, Jiminy Crickets, Sally, you should try this." Were women forced to undergo trends due to internalized sexism (thinking they needed to be better than other women) and blatant sexism (men weighing in on what is sexy or not)? Absolutely. Becoming one

First post of a new a blog

Hi everyone it’s been a while since i write something on a blog especially tumblr. Why i prefer to write my thoughts here are simply because somehow i like the interface of tumblr. The color is calming, there are various contents, it just feels that i could be more creative right here (well i hope so). So please bare with me. This one blog is dedicated for everytime i feel like i’ve got an ambivalent thoughts, or everytime i’ve got things that been bugging me. i’ve decided not to change this blog appearance for while because because it just looks very UwU.

Anyway, let me get to the point of my first post here. Did you guys ever feel whole or whatsoever in your life? Did you guys ever feel that your body, mind, and heart are all in sync as one? If yes, can guys tell me how does it feels like? to be as one whole human being who are in control over their body, mind, and heart? Or maybe you guys are also wondering how? To be whole as a person?

They said, those who are not in sync over ther body, mind, and heart never know what they actually really want. When those 3 aspects are not in sync, that person usually tend to be a person who end up doesn’t like theirself. yea, people say they might end up not loving theirself when those aren’t in sync. 

Somehow. i kinda feel that way. I often feel that all these three aspects aren’t in sync. Because sometime i feel  my body just moving by itself but my mind is not there because i tend to daydream of something that i doubt will ever happened.  My heart couldn’t even feel anything. Reasons? Probably because i didn’t like how my situation goes right now. Not that i’m not grateful, but i tend to imagine how things could go different. Turn out, all that thoughts are just some sort of a run. That makes me not to live the moment i could’ve spent it better. Sometimes i also feel that my mind and heart choose a different path that led my body to suffering. All the psychosomatics symptoms due to the anxiety i had have led to that point. My body is just suddenly feel some constant pain even after some medications were done. right at that moment, i knew that this has to be stopped. The only way for this to be stopped, is to accept myself as the way i am. Even when you feel like you are a total piece of shit, at that moment you gotta suck it up and accept the moment.  You might hate it, you feel like you hate yourself. But if you keep on feeling it you can’t go anywhere. You will only end up asking for self-pity and being annoying AF. So, all you gotta do is to forgive yourself, accept who you really are and if you don’t like how things goes lately, take time to pay attention to yourself and surroundings and learn.  Not for anyone, but yourself. Changing doesn’t mean that you don’t accept yourself as who you are but you decided to live up to your maximum potential so you could love yourself even much better. 

When you had an anxious thought about how people see yourself, it’s a reminder that you have a standard for yourself that you’re trying to achieve. All the thoughts you had are all understandable but make sure you take a note so you could learn what to be done next. It’s all part of growing, may not be the way loved but it’s the moment of reflection to realize how far you’ve gone. Learm, pray, and leave the rest to God.

We need to have that growing mindset that everything could be better and we could be something bigger, everything we’ve through so far are the process. You may not like it, but it’s for what’s best. Your past doesn’t decide your current value and what the future will be for you, as long you learn from all the things you’ve gone through. You may always think about a moment at a certain point in the past that been bothering you until now, that’s okay, that’s just how we as human goes, but how do we handle it that’s what makes us different. The past can not be changed but the future is always something we can shape how we want to.  If we learn from our mistakes, if we appreaciate the progress we’ve been through, if we get up and do something, all of that gonna make us all better. But as long as you have the “but it’s too late i can’t start over, i can’t change even if i try” well that’s the mindset which won’t get you anywhere. So please even it takes a long time please try to bring the best version of you. 

Try to love the things you do, learn how to appreciate it better. Accept yourself as who you are then bring out the best of it. Changes were made to be the best version of you, not because you hate yourself. “But that’s just how i go” well sometimes we tend to feel that the we know our way yet turn out all we see is just another bleak and blurred vision. Stop a bit, look your surroundings, have a moment to think, then decide which way will be better for us. Trust me, some adjustments will never hurt.

You might feel upset and dissapointed about the things that already happened, that’s just human. but if we keep on feeling that way, well the same things are just going to repeat by theirself.  But  if you learn, you may have a different outcome. A better outcome. Even if you feel you gonna fail again, you got to take the shot, to discover the great things await upon. So don’t be afraid to fail, because it will be much better than being stuck on the same hole. Either you stay on that hole or dare enough to rise up and take another walk even if you know there’ll be another hole ahead, at least is not the same hole and you already making some move forwards. Everytime you feel like you’re about to fall, always fall ahead and not to fall behind, because when you’re fall ahead, you are already making a new step ahead when you’re going to stand up. So to everyone who feel the same way as i am, please know that you are not alone. We could get over this and be a better version of ourself. It’s all part of our grind towards our dream.  Don’t compare yourself to others, just walk the walk and talk the talk. try to un-hate youself so you can love yourself. So we could be one whole person that able to control all the aspects of ourself.
