why are people always surprised when i say i can’t take a phone call when im at work and i’ll call them back when i get a break. like what. what boss is letting you make personal calls on the clock
#i knowwwwww it’s the idea that everyone has a desk job with not enough work to fill the 8 hour day but like#it just sucks bc most of the time i try to make important calls on my lunch break and ofc the place im calling is ALSO on their lunch#this is why i tend to prefer email or text. pleas#and i’m biased coming from a mostly customer service background but i also am not supposed to at my current job#and wouldn’t test it anyway. i don’t want my coworkers listening lol
