thinking abt this again with magolor epilogue and how kirby and magolor both use the ultra sword, aka magolor “reflects” kirby now. what does it mean

forever thinking about how mirror kirby in super star looks just like marx and how marx’s scales look like mirror shards and how he’s clearly meant to resemble kirby despite not being the same species and how kirby in the anime (verified by sakurai himself who worked on super star) is literally called the mirror of all the foes he faces.

#theres also a whole game abt mirrors lol #earlier today i was thinking abt that knuckle joe episode btw. augh #i knowww its kinda cheesy but knuckle joe is brought out of being a monster bc he sees that the ability kirby took from him #was different from what hes trained and known his whole life and how its been twisted into something unfamiliar in his grief and hatred #and thats what pulls him out and defeats him and why hes friendly after that #kirby is a reflection. hes a good way of knowing what youve become #do you see yourself or something unfamiliar and heinous?#post rtdl wasnt made w this in mind probably. or none of em and im just really riding hard on that anime line #but like. kirby as a mirror is so interestinggg
