Shout out to Royston, who got his chapter done in 2100 words (less than two hours) so I could go outside and play Fear & Hunger for the next twelve hours.

#chapter 17/40 in the can #if every chapter went as fast as royston chapters do i'd be done already #the next chapter clara and sullivan are just chilling - i'm not a filler/slice of life guy so i'm terrified of/overthinking it #also i'm estimating 40 chapters but i can neither count nor follow an outline so it's more like 17/?? chapters #i know we're almost at the midpoint but do i know anything else? NERP.#it's not REALLY filler it's more of a load-bearing chapter bc i need to hang a bunch of the rest of the back half of the novel off it #i'm going to shut up before i have to tag for spoilers #dmlsposting
