last book: i only really read fanfic. but the last like. published book i read was (half of) Good Omens.

last movie: into the spiderverse. (in a vc with friends. :3 it gave me the feel of going to the movies with friends, which was really nice bc i can't go to the theaters.)

latest TV show: jujutsu kaisen i think. rewatched a bit with my sister a bit ago.

marital status: i have a couple qpps. :3 one of which we call our wife.

current obsession: erm. rping my ocs. i can't stop and i won't stop. Snaps will get his hurt/comfort with Kelek however many times i say so.

i'm looking forward to it: more rps. being settled after moving. it's gonna be stressful as fuck getting to that point, but once i'm there, it will be such a relief.

Conversation on the Couch

This is for @baronessblixen 's anon. Baby fic! Hope you'll like it (I hope u don't mind I used the name I usually use in my fics). Tagging @today-in-fic

Scully's out with some colleagues for lunch and leaves Mulder with the baby at home.

They've been lying on the couch after lunch time and had already taken a nap, but has woken up again when the baby cried for milk.

"Shhh, I know, I know. Let's warm up the milk Mommy left for you." Mulder bounces the whimpering baby as they walk through the kitchen to grab the bottles breasts milk Scully had left.

It took a minute for the milk to warm up and as soon as Mulder gave it to Ivanna, she soon quieted down.

He goes back to the couch and they lay again, Ivanna sprawled on her dad's chest. One hand on the bottle, the other clinging to the shirt as if it was a life line.

Mulder hums "Here Comes the Sun" to her in hopes that she would go back to sleep, but to no avail at all. Her big blue eyes stares up to him and he smiles down to her.

"I love you." He whispers to her and kisses her capped head.

After Ivanna finishes her snack, she continues to be sprawled on Mulder's chest. She'd try to wiggle up her body or would lift her tiny head.

"Are you trying to lift your head?" Mulder coos at her and she giggles. Mulder pulls her up slightly and she thumps her slobbery hand on his cheek.

"You're so slobbery, Vee!" Mulder tells her and blows a raspberry on her cheek. She lets out a high pitch squeal and burst into baby giggles, making Mulder smile.

"You're such a big girl already!" Mulder exclaims. "Already smiling and giggling and lifting your head." He tells her in his best baby talking voice.

He carefully raises her up and lets her sit on his chest and she gives him a wide-eyed look. Her current look reminds him of Scully a bit and he silently wishes she was with them now.

Ivanna begins to babble and gurgle, saliva bubbling on her tiny lips. She was making sounds as if she were talking to Mulder.

"What are you talking about, Vee? Are you missing mommy?" He asks and she continues to babble.

Mulder thinks her babbling is adorable and that she's adorable.

"Can you say daddy?" Mulder asks her and wiggles her a bit. "Say daddy." He prompts her. She giggles and sticks her hand to her mouth.

Mulder sighs with a smile as he thinks of how perfect their little girl is.

"I love you, Ivanna." He tells her. "I can't wait for you to have your first word and start talking." And he kisses her chubby cheeks.

All the while, they didn't notice Scully entering the door and she smiled as she heard their sweet conversation.
