ok y'all. i think i've cracked it.

after extensively searching the best dnp archives i know, i'm 99.9% sure their anniversary is today, december 3rd. the only time they've posted videos on that day was during gamingmas. (as far as i know) there have only been a few innocuous tweets, 1 phil instagram post from 2012, and a few insta stories in 2018, 2020, and 2022. they've never had a tour date on this day. the only time they've been apart this day was during wad.

i think this day 15 years ago is when they first said "i love you" to each other and decided that they would do whatever it takes to be together. and that's why they're almost always silent on this day.
