you know what? i think the concept of this is just not good. like, not to beat the same point into the ground, but this is The metaphor for capitalism, so how the fuck was he gonna stop that? i just looked up how the season was gonna end and it looks like they just did a shot for shot remake of the first season---complete with the same exact fuckin ending---but without any of the heart. i think ali was such a beloved character in the first place bc (to me, at least) it was such a pleasant surprise seeing diversity incorporated so casually into the show and how that added some more fucked up nuance to everyone's situation.

like, i don't know. i guess i shouldn't really be that surprised that a show about greed and consumption is being milked for 3 entire seasons, but i didn't think that they'd be reusing story beats shot for fuckin shot. i know this whole season probably even came into fruition because people were attacthed to gi hun in the first place, but i think it would have been so much cooler to pivot from that and completely focus on no-eul and the rest of the workers with the players and the games fading into the background. i know that follows the basic "villain" format thats getting more popular recently (im not saying she’s a villain im just saying she’s an opp), but i just don't see the purpose in stringing the audience along as we watch gi hun try to dismantle fucking capitalism

ok I really hate the fact that bells hells have a time limit to save the world because how the fuck has it only been 10 in game days since they reunited? they barely said hello before rushing off and look where that has got them. they have no communication at all and I dont want to sound like a hater but I really dont see how after this final game they're all gonna be fine and trust each other. I just dont see it. they all have way too much emotional backage and none of them see that willing to work through it. I fucking hope I'm wrong and that they open up but even when they were telling secrets they were so guarded. they want to be a family so bad but they're just colleagues and at this point I'm not sure how they can change that

When House got out of that lift I KNOW that Wilson was there and gave him a big hug and they were weird about it! Wilson rambles about how House shouldn't put himself in danger like that and what was he thinking?! but eventually he stops and catapults himself into House's chest and just holds him tight and maybe for a second House actually lets himself hug him back and it's exactly what they both needed.

Oh and then they break apart and they're all weird about it for the next day or two.

It's not even exactly like that. I'd still find it incredibly stupid if Andrés was on a Vespa with Roi lmfao. But yes, it's even worse with women lmfao. And this storyline is wobbly. Him falling in love with the wife of the guy they're robbing and sabotaging the plan (we had Raquel and Sergio (100% better), we had Monica and Denver (100%), we had the love story between Rio and Tokyo sabotaging the plan (somehow also 100% better).

Also, you bet that the wife will turn out to have known Andrés was trying to rob her husband from the start and she was the one playing him and it's gonna be "heartbreaking" when he finds out lmfao.

The interesting thing about lcdp Andrés is that we knew his history from him but when we watched his relationship with women (Ariadna, Tatiana) they were deeply fucked up and it really cemented how his perception of reality had nothing to do with what was actually happening. THAT was what's interesting, not the warped view Andrés had of himself that every woman who sees him falls in love with him lmfao. Like lcdp Andrés was interesting precisely because he was the one character going on about love all the time yet the only main one we didn't actually see have a compelling love story. He was the one obsessed with it, yet it wasn't him who fell in love with another team member, enemy or hostage and WHEN it came around that we watched a love story of his, it was completely unconventional and unexpected, even to him. This paradox was what made his "love life" and perception of it interesting to watch.

Him actually having an Parisan love story where he runs around the street and kisses his woman on a Vespa is ?? To watch.

Also yes, lmfao. That teaser was just Not Fun. (Cameron is hot and that's the only worthy part)
