#I hate eso so much#all its minority and culture representations#hhrrrrgh#how beast races are coded as indigenous or near eastern cultures#and so superficially#like im just petty at this point because quote oppression quote of white people isn't a real problem#but also nords#you can make fun of white people i don't care#but i would appreciate if scandinavian coded people weren't the only racist and ridiculed group of white people#like of look at these illiterate stupid vikings who only fight and drink alcohol#fuck you fuckyoufuckyou#why aren't imperials critisized more for their colonialism?? oh because they are like romans or brits so cool and civilised#they think they can just stereotype and reduce any non majority culture to a joke when there would be so much more in it#why did you made a game where the model of nords and vikings comes from ethno nationalist stereotypes#instead of utilising and appreciating all different and interesting cultural aspects that make it unique#this goes to every other culture that eso has ripped off and simplified from real world#i just live in fennoscandia and this is still my home that hasn't had much say in world politics and colonialism#i know my country has done shit to the sapmi cultures qnd communities as well#but i would still like to appreciate the traditions of my culture from making mead to oral poetry without feeling guilty or being ridiculed
