follower milestone + some quick things

heyho!! i have returned (hopefully permanently) from my slumber. it seems in my absence i have gone up to 700 followers? so thanks a bunch! like are yall lost lmao but uh hey thanks for coming and thanks to those sticking around!!!

i like follower milestone thingies even tho I suck at finishing them so I’ll be posting that in the next day or so :>  it’ll be more about the fun discussions & HCs we have here bc i rlly love those a lot. you can always send me some if u wanna chat about it.

ok other thing is really completely and utterly irrelevant to this blog LOL its literally just me squeeing about my first fish. under the cut ⬇️

OK SO ive just been a mental health fucking mess but jan-early march was esp hard, so i do what i usually do when im stressed... go down research rabbit holes. And i stumbled upon aquariums.

Im a diver + i love fish so i just fell into fish hell. Theyre very relaxing and comforting!! After tons of research and prep, i was ready for my first tank. It was something of a wedding present from my husband :>

And this is my sweet boy, Piñada!!! He's finally here, from several states over! He's really such a beautiful and active boy 🥺 im already hopelessly attached.

It's hard to get a proper picture bc he's such a fast little dude. The teal on his fin almost looks metallic! And the orange on his body reminds me of actual oranges haha. Naranja was a second name for him. Love him to pieces.

In the future i'd like to give him some panda corys, nerite snails and cardinal tetra as pals :> but for now he's gonna enjoy his 20gal palace.
