Listening to modern technical talk reminds me of when I was checking out some videos from S1 and heard Xisuma telling the viewer that he'd switched food sources because Etho had just proven that the saturation from eating changes based on what food you eat.

I wonder if it's a design choice or the devs themselves can't make up their mind, but why did Solomon's eye colour "change" in NB? The chibi sprites in the OG show his eyes are shades of grey to brown/almost gold-bronze.
The NB chibi sprite shows his eyes to be dark blue and brownish-gold.
Don't even get me started with the cards and merch that can't make up his effing eye colour
To my Solobesties (I'm calling Solomon stans this now. I think we formed a strange kinship after lesson 17 even if we never interact lmao), especially artist solobesties, hats off to you and your service to the community.
My personal HC is kinda a spoiler for uhhhh something I'm writing, but here it is:
"It's just…your eyes are like you: I can't figure them out."
"MC, I-"
"No! No! Solomon, I'm sorry! No…it's not like that, I promise! Look at me, won't you? Please look at me."
So he did. His eyes trembled as he met with yours.
How could he have hidden this part of himself for this long? How could you not notice? How could you forget? How could Father be so cruel to him and you for simply existing?
You traced the corner of his lips with your thumb as you held him by the cheek. He was leaning onto your right hand, unable to maintain his gaze. He was surprisingly bashful. Adorably shy without his facades. But he looked like he would crumble even with a gentle word so you did not say anything.
He looked at you expectantly, then looked away as your gaze burned onto him for too long and muttered, "You can't figure me out?"in almost a whisper, after a long-drawn out silence, weighing in his words, watching your expressions and body language. Afraid, so deathly afraid. You smiled.
"It's like I'm looking at a mirror. Sometimes it's silver, sometimes it's midnight. When you look at the world around you and then look back at me, I feel like you've captured the sky and the oceans in your eyes. It's beautiful."
His face was red all over, even to the tips of his ears. It was such a shame. You haven't even said everything you wanted to say to him yet.
That he was the moon and the stars to your daytime; gold and silver gazes, looking after you from afar in the many branches of realities he couldn't be as honest with you as he was now.
Ah. What will you do without him now? How can you give this up after remembering everything?
You knew it was selfish, but you love him. Both of him. Every part of him just as much as he loved you and every part of you that existed.
But now, you had to say goodbye. Again.
How truly unfair.

lookism ch520 spoilers and rant
so gun has a fucked up family like we all predicted huh
I find it so funny he was born in ui (man was on fight mode since birth) but that doesn’t explain that one panel of him like 200 chapters ago during the workers 2nd affiliate arc where he had normal eyes
then again he doesn’t get tattoos until later on too, so it’s definitely some time in the future. Maybe he was knocked out of ui for a bit after a fight like how he was with ui daniel.
anyways, his family situation really shows why he is how he is in the current story. Imagine essentially being born a human weapon and that’s all you’re ever allowed to be—his whole life and value as a person comes from being strong.
I’m assuming Haruto is dead in current lookism timeline (he joined seonji and sujin as the sacraficial backstory lamb). I can’t imagine Gun atm saying yes to killing him, so I predict his death playing out in one of three ways
Gun says he won’t kill him and tells Haruto to run or something. Haruto then betrays Gun in an attempt to become head of the Yamazaki. Gun ends up killing him.
Gun says he won’t kill him but is forced to by some action or event.
Gun refuses and Haruto is killed by someone else (maybe gun’s dad after he snaps out of whatever is wrong with him and this is the reason why he doesn’t have a yamazaki name)
I feel like the first one is the most likely, only because it fits into his character currently.

qsmp francophone cubitos and their dynamic drive me wild, they all know they’re mutually lying and obscuring the truth to one another, they all know they’re keeping each other at arm’s distance, they all know they’re not as open as they once were when it was just them and the aftermath of a plane crash, but the love is still there. the worry and the concern. they pry information out of one another in supposedly subtle ways that really just convey how much they still care about each other. what’s your stance on the federation. how’s your code arm doing. even if in the end you don’t turn to me, please call out to someone. maybe looking out for yourself is looking out for others as well. i don’t know you anymore but i will protect the unknown anyway

“Red team was so selfish looking past the cursed team like that” listen man they were thinking about it often, and had evidence they were cursed too. They were convinced they were cursed too. Bad (with Pierre’s help I’ll be honest) singlehandedly destroyed any sort of civil relations and good faith between the two teams and this shot Blue in the foot when they tried to make the case about them being cursed last minute, about trying to rig it in the cursed teams favor.
There was never a cursed team in the first place, it was all a tactic to build paranoia and that feeling of betrayal and to get them to tear eachother a part. And it worked super well! At the end, neither would listen to the other about their evidence, not with an honest open ear, not with the willingness to think the other team could be cursed. It’s not a case of ‘Red just refused to listen because they wanted to win more than they cared’ they thought they were cursed too - if they were selfish, then so were Blue in the same way.
Every time Red had tried to talk first early on, it was met with extreme violence - and with Bad consistently proving he’ll play dirty to win, they didn’t trust Blue enough to listen to them in the later game. Maybe they should have listened then. Maybe Blue have listened earlier. The game worked as intended to set them against eachother.

You know a non insignificant reason for dragging my feet on taking the computer back to the store for repairs Again is that every time ive done it, i have to rip all my stickers off before taking it in… Like sure half of them are normal cute stickers but the other half is candygore and a moogle with a glock, like im stressed enough being back there for pc problems again, i dont want to have to answer questions about my immaculate taste in stickers too 🙅
