controversial opinion but i dont think being in the tcc makes u a bad person by default. all of the people ive spoken to and met who have been in the tcc have been nothing but kind and sweet toward me and the vast majority do not condone. no, i dont think its technically morally okay to treat mass murderers like a fandom and to romanticise them and things along those lines but i dont think that its something that directly harms anyone else or negatively impacts others. tccers keep to themselves for the most part. and i also feel like the tcc is a place where people who feel alienated find community and likeminded individuals, particularly those who struggle with suicidal/homicidal ideation. again, i do recognise that its not really right to be in the tcc and i do feel somewhat guilty about it but as somebody who has always had morbid interests and felt isolated from others, i truly do find solace in participating in the tcc. i feel that the vast majority of tccers are mentally unwell, and i think the death threats ppl make towards them r counterproductive as if most of these people had been treated with inclusion and kindness they likely wldnt have even ended up in the tcc in the first place. idk this may sound stupid or all over the place and i know i may be being way too lenient but i feel that ppl massively overuse the term “bad person” and truly bad people r pretty scarce, as are truly good people. most of us are just an amalgamation of good and bad actions bc humans are complex and multifaceted. and i do believe very strongly in forgiveness and growth and redemption. okay thats all for now.
