♡♡ Indulgent Secondo HCs - Food related (because I truly believe this is one of his main ways to connect with loved ones ;-;)♡♡:

An excellent cook - he will create the most delicious dishes with the most high quality ingredients he is able to choose. Even if he gets his meals from the ministry's kitchen, he highly prefers to cook something for himself at the end of the day, if his energy allows it. It is a way for him to let loose and relax.

One of his favorite date plans is having his loved one visit his chambers after a long day at the ministry, in order to prepare a special meal together. It's a way to express his love and care for his beloved. Nurturing and, to a degree, seductive.

Pampers his lovers by having them sit on his lap to feed them, letting them try whichever dish he ordered for himself, dessert, and having them drink from his own glass as well. It's all part of his courtship.

Naturally, as a lover of the good cuisine, he will be picky about the restaurants he takes his dates, friends, or anyone for that matter. This does not necessarily mean he requires to go to an expensive restaurant; in fact, he prefers family owned places that are at a walking distance from the ministry. The welcoming and cheerful atmosphere of these places make him feel quite at ease, and he is always greeted with a smile by the owners that are well acquainted with his favorite dishes from their menus. They're always more than happy to make some small chat with Papa about the ministry's current affairs.

Absolute favorite customer of all the nonne that own these cute restaurants! If he or his beloved have leftovers to take home, they will always add a little extra. They think he's too skinny, so he better eats more!

All the Papas, as good Italians, are quite sensitive to the crimes committed against their traditional cuisine by the rest of the world; yet Secondo tends to be the most vocal and most honest about it. "Madonna mia!... Spaghetti with ketchup?! Pineapple on Pizza?! Cream on Carbonara?!?! are you trying to kill me, piccola? This is the equivalent of you spitting on my tomb!"

The following day he sends you a whole lunch box with freshly made food and a note that says "You're not allowed near the stove for the rest of the week - P.E II"

His favorite dessert is affogatto ('to drown') - an ice cream and espresso combination that mixes all sorts of flavors and textures. Hot and cold, bitter and sweet, black and white. Much like himself...

"Hello to you too, Chilwell. May I come in?"

"Sure" Ben said. "But what are you doing here?"

"Today after training some of the girls were talking about meeting with their partners to watch the game all together and I remembered that you are still recovering and will probably be watching it alone because your only friend is playing, so I thought… Why don't I pay Chilwell a visit?"

"So the girls were talking about their partners and you thought about me? What are you trying to tell me, June?" he smirked.

"Why do you have to take everything out of context?" she replied, rolling her eyes. "They reminded me about the game, which reminded me of Mason, which reminded me of you."

"Ok" he said, still smiling. "But I have more friends that Mason and you know it."

"That's what you say."

"Whatever. What have you brought there?"

"Dinner" June said, lifting the bags in her hands. "I thought we could make some homemade pizza and watch the game. You like pizza, don't you?"

"I do, yes."

"Great" she said, starting to walk towards the kitchen. "I don't know what you like to put on it, so I just bought a bit of everything."

"Pineapple too?" Ben asked. "No pineapple, ok" he laughed after seeing the look June gave him.

"Do you like pineapple, tho?" she asked.

"Only for dessert."

"Good answer."

"They say it is aphrodisiac."

"Wrong answer" June replied, rolling her eyes again. "Besides, you have to rest. That type of exercise isn't recommended."

"Says who?"

"I do" she said, taking everything out from the bags and organising it. 

"Didn't know you were a doctor now."

"I am no doctor. But you said she recommended you a quiet life for a few days, and that isn't being quiet precisely."

"Does that mean you aren't quiet, June Maxwell?" Ben asked, trying to play it cool despite his mind going back to what Mason had said about her being fire, his body starting to get… excited just by the thought of it. 

"Men" she scoffed, opening the fridge and putting some things inside, hoping that it would hide the blush on her cheeks at the mere thought of she and Ben… "Have you ever made pizza from scratch?"

"You mean… the dough and everything?"

"Yes. Everything."

"Nope, never."

"Then congratulations, Mr. Chilwell. Today will be your first time. And don't take that out of context too" June warned him.

"I won't, I'll behave" Ben smiled.

"They look pretty good."

"Let's hope they also taste good" June said, closing the oven. "Now it's time for the boring part: cleaning and waiting."

"You clean, I wait."

"What?"

"I must rest, remember?" Ben said, giving her an innocent smile. 

"You… urgh" she groaned.

"Wait."

"What now, Chilwell?"

"You have flour on your cheek."

"Oh" June said, touching her face.

"Your other cheek, Maxwell. No, not there. Let me do it" he said, getting up from his chair and moving to where she was standing.

"I thought you said you couldn't clean, that you had to rest" she said, feeling her cheek get warmer and warmer under Ben's touch.

"I can't clean the dishes. Your face is different."

"Why?" June asked.

"Why what?" he chuckled, his thumb still on her face.

"Why is my face different?"

"Because I like your face" he replied, his eyes fixed on June's. That close she could see they were more grey than blue, something she had never noticed before.

"You…" she gulped.

"I like your face very much. The colour of your eyes, the shape of your nose… and your lips. Especially your lips" Ben said, his thumb moving from her cheek to her lower lip, the feeling making her shudder.

"They are just lips" June whispered. "Yours, on the other hand…"

"What about them?" he smirked.

"They are perfect."

"Are they?"

"Yep" she nodded. "They were made to be kissed."

"And to kiss too" Ben whispered before kissing her, the same electricity both of them had felt running through their bodies during the New Year's party coming back. 

"I don't think your doctor would agree with this" June said when they broke apart, their lips still touching. "Too much excitement for that heart of yours."

"My heart has never felt healthier than it does right now" he replied before kissing her again.

"I can't believe they've named him star baker. His technical challenge was the worst!" 

"But his showstopper was amazing" Ben shrugged.

"The star baker should be the best on the three challenges, not just on the last one."

"Should we write a complaint a send it to them?" 

"Don't tease me, Chilwell" June said, hitting him on the chest.

"Ouch! That's where my heart is, remember?"

"Oh, shit. Sorry" she apologized, turning to look at him. "You are the fucking worse" she said when she saw the smile on his face. He was teasing her again.

"Sorry, sorry. But where are you going?" Ben said when June moved from his side. After a very enjoyable make out session in the kitchen while the pizzas cooked, they had moved to the living room to eat them and enjoy the game, finding themselves watching an episode of the Great British Bake Off after Chelsea's win while cuddling on the sofa, Ben's arm around June's shoulders, her head resting on his chest. 

"Home? It's late."

"You can stay here for the night, I don't mind. And you can pick whatever guest room you like."

"No joke about sharing your bed?" she asked, arching an eyebrow.

"No joke" he replied.

"Good, we are improving. But now that you mention it… Someone should stay with you in case you don't feel well through the night. Too much excitement."

"Definitely. And you shouldn't drive this late at night, it can be dangerous."

"It actually can, yes... But are you asking me to stay because you worry about my safety or because you want me to make you one of my famous breakfasts in the morning?"

"Both? Though the breakfast part is the most appealing one, I can't lie" Ben smirked. 

"Idiot" June replied, rolling her eyes. 

"So, are you staying or not?"

"I don't like driving at night that much, so I guess I'll stay" she sighed. 

"Great" he smiled. "We can go out for an early walk and buy everything you may need for that breakfast of yours."

"A Tesco's date, my favourite" she laughed. "But I'm only staying because I'm a good soul and you are recovering."

"You are just staying because you pity me. Noted" Ben chuckled. "Do you want me to show you the guest rooms?"

"Be my tour guide" June smiled before following him upstairs, not letting go of his hand as he showed her every room.

Very flat and floppy, the cheese is all off, the pepperoni is weak... I don't even know who made it, the box it came in just said "Pizza!" And let me tell you, microwaving it just made me real sad.

Okay, I'll list places I've been first. South Carolina, North Carolina, Atlanta Georgia, Niagra Falls NY, my foot crossed the border to Canada, West Virginia Nuttallburg, Virginia, Pittsburgh PA.

Well, I was only in West VA for a few hours in the mountains on a road trip, I love the river we went to it was so calm and relaxing but I can't really say it's my favorite. I was only in Pittsburgh for less than one night but it was a exciting eye opening expierence. I was only in Georgia for a day and one night well Atlanta and in the mountains not too far but I loved it so much. We only went to a rest stop in VA so. I was in Niagra one night and it was very fun, the falls were gorgeous and the expierence was great but that food court/welcome center was disgusting and unbelievably filthy, but, can't say it's my favorite based on one night. So, I'll have to go with home, Carolina, despite having it's pros and cons, I'll say I can talk shit about it but noone else can
