which anna'll do greatly. happily, even. she'd never admit it to anyone, but sometimes it- it hurts, just lying down next to her daughter. not because... of the usual reasons, no. she'd never gotten that. post-partum. either the short-term, or the long-term effects of it. she'd always known it was dangerous, though. marlene had warned her, a long time ago, that it could be a dangerous. having a baby in the middle of an apocalypse ? you gotta' be freaking insane. but she never... ellie was always her perfect girl. ever since she let out that first cry; ever since she was cradled inside her arms.

anna wouldn't dare point one fault towards her.

but — my god. that still didn't mean there weren’t many mistakes made in between the birth and the now. so many mistakes she wished she'd never been clumsy enough to produce, so many more she knew she had to - if it means it'll get her perfect little girl to stay alive. if it means ellie could be sheltered, could have clothes, could never know what it's like to stay in a cramped up old room, cold to the bone while her mom begged for electricity or clean water or- or something. there's always something. sometimes it hurts looking at her because anna knew she was never enough. she could never be enough.

so she volunteers.

she tends to the fire, she shivers as the dark blue of the night slowly creeps its way into the morning light. what she didn't expect was to hear rustling in the middle of the distant rush of the river and jostling of the tree. she turns, and, almost automatically, anna williams' face softens at the sight of her baby girl. when did she grew so quickly, she asks herself almost nostalgically, though she never says it aloud. anna knows when ellie grew; it's when she wasn't around to see it.

an intro post!!

what's up! i'm zee, i'm 23, and i largely use they/them pronouns, though she/her is occasionally acceptable. i've been roleplaying for about 6 years, and i'm unfortunately obsessed with stranger things, hence the blog! i'm always on the lookout for new partners, so don't hesitate to send a message if you're interested in plotting!

i'm a pretty chill person when it comes to writing, but i do have a few rules and guidelines. please read everything before messaging me!

general.

first and foremost, i only write with people 20 or older. please do not contact me if you're under the age of 20, or i will block you.

secondly, i am a black, queer person, and i write a lot of queer characters. if you don't like that, don't interact.

i want to reiterate that i write on discord only. my tumblr blog is just to find people and talk a little before moving over there. i'm a multi-para writer, and i average about 6-8 paragraphs, but i can write less if you're more comfortable with that. that being said, i cannot do one-liners. i like to keep a plot moving and i feel like with one-liners, it just drags out. i will lose interest and the plot will be dropped.

i write in mini servers on discord, and i usually make a couple of channels for us to chat and share things ooc, and different channels for each roleplay. i write in third person, past or present tense, and i have tried in the past but i cannot get into first or second person, so please don't ask me to write in either.

lastly, while i use some bots, i prefer not using tupperbox. it confuses me and more often than not i forget to actually use it when replying.

activity.

i work a full-time job, i'm preparing for a year-long certification course, and i'm mentally ill, so my activity can be spotty. there may be times that i just want to chat without writing, and there may be periods where you get tons and tons of replies from me. please be patient with me either way. you can always poke me gently if it's been a few days and you haven't heard from me, but daily messages, or multiple messages a day make me extremely anxious. i'm less likely to answer you, and it will probably end in a ghosting situation, which is the last thing i want. if you're the kind of person who needs rapid responses every day, we aren't going to vibe.

plotting.

first and foremost, be aware that i require doubling. i have a lot of ideas and ships, and i know plenty of other people do as well. i want us both to be able to get what we want out of writing together. i will always put as much enthusiasm into your plot as i do mine, and i ask that you do the same. if i feel like you're neglecting one plot in favor of the other, i will probably end both.

nsfw and other themes.

i am an adult, and i enjoy writing smut and heavy topics. sometimes, my plots can be very smutty, and other times smut might not appear at all. please let me know what you are and aren't comfortable with upfront so that we can avoid any tricky situations!

i enjoy writing angst, fluff, aus (especially historical aus), omegaverse, pregnancy and family-building, and canon-compliant plots. i love brainstorming and worldbuilding, filling in the many gaps that the duffer brothers have left us with.

i have very few triggers, but i will not write out the following: self-harm, toxic or abusive relationships, homophobia or queerphobia of any kind, racism, heavy descriptions of gore, eye trauma, or animal abuse.

for smut purposes, i absolutely cannot write anal penetrative sex. i had a nightmarish experience both online and in person that i won't go into details about, but anal smut is highly triggering for me. if you bring it into a plot, i will block you immediately. that being said, other limits include: pedophilia, raceplay, feeding/food, feet, detransitioning, and noncon.

characters/ships.

i will delete this part later, but for right now i am not looking for any steddie content. i enjoy the ship, but i have been overwhelmed with it lately and would just like to take a break from it altogether for the time being.

my main muse is steve harrington, who i write as a trans man. he's my favorite character to write as, and is the one i have the most headcanons and backstory for. but i am duplicate-friendly, and welcome other steves to interact!

additionally, i do write as a few members of the party, but i write them all aged up. the only time i will write them as kids are if they're appearing in other plots as background characters.

and lastly, i am open to all kinds of ships, but there are a few things to keep in mind. firstly, i am open to canon/oc ships but only if you have a detailed character sheet for them, so that i can actually get a feel for them. secondly, i do not enjoy ronance or stonathan as romantic ships, but i am always happy to write them platonically (in fact i have a platonic stonathan plot that i am DESPERATE to write so hmu).

is this para based? the app is told to be kept short so i wanted to know if the threads will be on the short sized/one liners or not

So it is prara based! Right now we haven’t had a para kick off but you can check out my mod account to see headcanons which is a whole lot of blather – and later today I know a few players are planning to write some starters so you can check those out, too.

That said, it is also December 2000 in the game so some very cutting edge flip phone texting could also be used for some IC interactions if your character is a muggle-born or half-blood or otherwise has been pulled into that portion of technology (and if Hogsmeade doesn’t kill service entirely like Hogwarts itself would – so definitely no cell phones as you get close to the school, but if you want to use them in Hogsmeade? Or have fun with awkward phone glitches due to the area-of-affect of Hogwarts, etc – that’s fine!)

The app was made to be short and sweet so players could not stress too much while also providing the mods enough to asses: does this player get the character? We wanted to make it fast and easy for people to join in time to enjoy all the holiday vibes in a timely fashion!

…But, yes, paras, some texting maybe, and otherwise lots of writing exploration are the goals of this game. Only paras/mini-paras count toward activity levels, but we aren’t going to be stopping people from doing other things, too!

Rules

My rules used to be really short, but certain encounters and trying to avoid confusion and confrontations has led to it growing into a monstrosity, sorry.

General Rules:

This blog is R18+ because of NSFW & TWs.

I am mid 20s. My Mun hub-blog, is Rave-RPs and I tend to follow from there first to check out RP blogs so I can keep my specific blog dashes curated to where I think interactions will happen.

This blog is selective, and low-moderate activity I will prioritize mains purely because in my work I have super busy seasons of October to May. In order to maintain activity I limit the number of threads I take on.

Thread limit doesn’t equal interaction limit! If I’m at my thread limit, I don’t mind having small interactions like asks or quickfire short-replies etc!

Para-style (1-2ish) is my tendency for general interactions. Multi-Para (3+) I save for threads. One-liners to single-Para replies will happen in spontaneous quickfire-interactions, dash commentary or shitpost threads.

Angst / Dark themes / Violence / Death will appear on this blog. If these bother you, Please do not follow me. Anything verging drastic will be hidden under cuts.

All my tags including trigger warnings appear on my links page. If I’ve missed tagging something or you want a tag added, message me and I’ll fix it. I do not have any particular triggers myself. My usual tw format is ‘tw Trigger’

No god-modding. Don’t control my muse. Minor implied things can be okay within reason, like opening doors, or if in a character moves some part of another character. But please be reasonable and fair. Injuries: check with me.

I use RP Thread Tracker to keep track of all my threads. Please let me know if you change your username so I can update my settings on it or I may not notice your reply.

When my threads start crowding I schedule thread releases to help stagger replies. My reply-times can range from same-day up to around two-weeks. (Depending on my backlog) But I tend to aim for a week-average on threads.

If after I’ve replied to a thread I haven’t heard back on it for a month (four weeks) and there hasn’t really been any discussion of the thread OOC between muns in that time, I consider the thread dead. This is so I can open up to other interactions rather than waste my limited time waiting for something that may never come. If a thread is dead please don’t just revive it without checking with me first.

If you wish to drop a thread for any reason (lack of muse, stuck or disinterest) you’re welcome to ask me to drop it too. That way we’re open for other interactions without stress! But please let me know, I need closure.

I will try to respond to memes / asks / tags / mentions, however, this usually takes some time to get around to due to my activity levels. I can’t promise replying to random thread starters due to thread limits, so please message me if you want to start something. :3

Canonical characters preferred. May consider OCs but typically only if I know the mun.

For my own dash curation purposes I don’t tend to follow multi-muses unless I’m familiar with all fandoms on it. (May still follow from Rave-RPs instead.) but you are welcome to interact from a multi-muse!

I am both dyslexic and my sight isn’t amazing. Special formatting using multiple indents and multiple special text-icons confuse me easily. If we are threading I will ask please don't use small-text for the body of replies. I don't mind specific occasional uses to emphasize things, but if I have to squint to read a whole reply: I won’t. If it’s only a smaller interaction of a few short replies and not an ongoing thread, I don’t mind the use of special formatting small-text, it’s just my eyes and brain don’t cooperate and I can’t endure large amounts of it. It’s nothing against muns or their chosen aesthetic.

Please cut posts in replies. Or if you’re continuing an ask, either make a new post, tag me and link back to the ask, or reply-comment on the original ask. If you’re mobile-based and can’t, just let me know and I’ll be fine cutting things since I only RP on my computer.

I use icons by default, however if my RP partner doesn’t, I will match iconless.

I’m most comfortable with plotting beforehand or with meme responses. Feel free to turn a meme into a thread, by all means (in another post)! As for tagging me in random starters, that’s a bit more selective.

. Mun and muses are over 18 (in main verse). I will not smut with minors, it's illegal and gross besides. No sexually explicit material will be shown/written about the muses until they are over 18 in verse. Violating this rule will almost definitely result in you being blocked.

I do love my crossovers but I kinda have to have some background knowledge on the other character’s fandom. That will usually exclude animated stuff, and as ever, I hold the right to be selective.

I’m most comfortable with paragraph style roleplay. I can go longer easily, but shorter is difficult. Mini para works fine, but I’m not great with single-sentence/icon exclusive. Sometimes I'll start with one-liners, but I do expect to transition to at least single-paragraph.

I will follow anyone’s blog whose rules I feel I can follow, which I’m interested in either aesthetically or for writing. [ OKAY. So, the muse page has been completely redone and updated. It now lists ALL of the muses, can divide them by categories, etc etc. ALL muses there are available for play! Tho keep in mind their roles as mains, sides, or NPCs does affect what they’re available for.

Here’s a quick guide for that: [ Main = available for threads, quips*, asks, and memes** ] [ Side = available for quips, asks, and memes ] [ NPC - available for asks and memes ]

(*Quips are mini threads - stuff like one-liners, or exchanges that only last a few turns. Threads I consider something to be at least one para, with many turns and a fuller ‘plot’ than a quip...tho in all fairness sometimes things lapse between one or the other lol) (**Memes are stuff on the dash where you get tagged and fill out info for a muse, like this post here)

BUT, for now, not ALL linked pages (ie bios and verses) are done. IF you click through and find a page missing, I’m sorry, it’s just not done yet ;;;;; BUT you can ALWAYS ask me about any missing info, and I’ll summarize to the best of my ability until the page is done, so you’re not without any info you need!

That said, I still have 16 bios to do, and 15 verses pages...I think. NPC muses will NOT have verses pages, as (for now) they are only for default verses (for canons it’s ALAS, for some OCs it’s ALAS, WHoH, or both). Meaning their bios have all the verse info you need. The only exception is Reika II because...she’s a dual verse and has a different father/team depending on if we’re talking WHoH (where @abyssaldespair is her adoptive father and she was in-vitro), or ALAS (where she’s my Itachi’s biological daughter). Confusing, I know, but most of you don’t have to worry too much about it, I promise xD That’s really all that changes about her, otherwise she’s really about the same.

...anyway, I guess that’s the update for now. Under a cut I’ll put my current status on what’s finished and what’s not, but I’m gonna continue working after a quick break, so it’ll change a bit as I go. Thanks again for all your patience. Dumping so many new muses (especially since it was right around when Tumblr started breaking OTL) has made it slow work, but hopefully I’ll have it all soon!

(Ignore stuff about icons - this is just so you know who’s got what pages. As you can see there’s still a lot of red, but...I’m getting there! Anything missing, again, you can just ask me for and I’ll summarize until the pages are up!)

To be honest I have a lot of small pet peeves in this community, but most of them are how people do with their own blogs and I don’t really want to dwell in that. You do you on your own blog - do what makes you comfortable and makes your experience good and all that ^_^Moving on to actually mentioning a pet peeve….Fortunately, I haven’t experienced this on this blog yet, but a thread starting out strong with multiple paras only to suddenly get cut to a single mini para or even a one-liner. It really puts me off - not only because I rarely do one-liners, but also because I feel so betrayed? Don’t promise me multiple paras and a decent length with lots of nice writing only to cut it down to the minimum with only some dialogue and the added “he said with a smile” or something like that…. (I’m dramatic, I know.)That said don’t be afraid to cut length with me - I’m not too fuzzy about matching the exact same amount of paras and such just don’t cut to one-liners D: Also - just a “sorry for cutting the length/sorry for short reply this time” in the tags is always nice :)

. Mun and muses are over 18 (in main verse). I will not smut with minors, it’s illegal and gross besides. No sexually explicit material will be shown/written about the muses until they are over 18 in verse. Violating this rule will almost definitely result in you being blocked.

I do love my crossovers but I kinda have to have some background knowledge on the other character’s fandom. That will usually exclude animated stuff, and as ever, I HOLD THE RIGHT TO BE SELECTIVE.

I’m most comfortable with paragraph style roleplay. I can go longer easily, but shorter is difficult. Mini para works fine, but I’m not great with single-sentence/icon exclusive. Sometimes I’ll start with one-liners, but I do expect to transition to at least single-paragraph.
