see but like i gotta stop pointing out typos to my mom bc she’s in the “dumbing down of america” camp and i’m over here on “english is a living thing” island, trying to sort out whether i think “suppose to” instead of “supposed to” is a typo or evidence of how the language is changing

#mouth amok #i know NOTHING about football but we’ve gone from typos to damar hamlin #and i said ‘i heard the NFL wasnt going to call it off’#and she said ‘well the official statement says there was no this that the other’#and ‘the nfl has processes to call it off and i’m sure they take some time’#and ‘people are so quick to criticize when they don’t understand the facts and processes’#and i’m like. 😐 a 24 y/o went into cardiac arrest and needed TEN MINUTES OF CPR. i don’t care how long your process takes #you call it off then and worry about your processes later #and maybe that’s what happened! like i said! i know fuckall about the nfl #and it’s not like i was watching #but this is about my mom and her tone lmao
