BP did something bad, right? Like something about being really offensive to a certain religion? (Don't remember the specifics, but I see a ton of people still really into them and it kind of makes me uncomfortable?)

ok so i’m probably not the best person to answer this bcs im not s.e asian or hindu but yes, in the hylt video there was a scene in which Lisa was sitting on a throne with her back facing a statue of the hindu god Ganesha on the floor and pushed to the side (yg have since removed the statue from the video but never put out a statement apologizing). It’s all very 😬😬😬 gross; it was embarrassingly and disturbingly out-of-touch/ignorant at best and extremely disrespectful and malicious at worst. I’ll admit, the whole thing made me really uncomfortable because it’s not the first time they’ve done something like that. Of course, at the end of the day whether or not you support bp is your choice and no one elses, but at the same time it’s not up to ppl who aren’t hindu to decide whether that was a dealbreaker/“cancel worthy”
