#i keep seeing shit like “yall trumps victory wasn't caused by [x] it was caused by [y]”#when it was very obviously caused not only by [x] and [y] but also a billion other reasons that we don't have enough letters for#like yes gen z's radicalization to the far right is part of it#so is the biden administration's involvement in the genocide on palestine#so was the blatant racism and misogyny that's deeply ingrained in american culture#so was the absolutely dogshit democratic campaign trail#so was the far left's inability to understand the point of presidential elections#and that's definitely not all of the reasons either#there are probably a multitude of other problems that im not even aware of as of now#but instead of fighting over which specific one caused the most damage#we should be joining parts of our community that will actually fix or at the very least address the problems#that are running rampant and will only get worse over the next four years#2024 election
