I'm still thinking about the post I made this morning so just to clarify my point further: If you're going to criticize any non-love square ship for cluttering the love square tag on AO3 — including ships that break up the love square, like Adrigami and Lukanette — you have to criticize love square fic writers for cluttering non-love square tags, especially ships that conflict with the love square. I do not care how much it bothers you to find a Lukanette fic in the love square tag — running the numbers very quickly, about 35% of Lukanette fics are currently also tagged with love square, while — get this — 3.5% of love square fics are also tagged Lukanette.

It is infinitely harder to navigate the Lukanette tag than it is to navigate the love square tag, and if you're going to bitch and moan about 3.5% of fics possibly containing content you don't want to see then I need to see you complaining about 35% of fics possibly containing content that someone else doesn't want to see.

The love square tag is damn near the only relationship tag in ML that's navigatable on AO3, and it is hypocrisy to complain about how 3.5% of your fics are mistagged (when many of those fics are tagged like that because they do feature both Lukanette and LS, and many of them feature Lukadrinette) if you do not give a shit about 35% for someone else.

And yes, I will mention DJWifi here. Because DJWifi is entirely unnavigatable, with a whopping 83% of DJWifi fics being tagged love square. I'll give you a hint: Most of those fics do not focus on DJWifi in the slightest.
