sometimes i want to shake people and ask “is it fun for you to take lines of dialogue and interpret them as negatively as possible? does watching things in bad faith make you happy?”
#mayo blogs#need more pretty pictures of the seven and of merwyn but…#i just… why would you assume that jaskier thinks geralt is racist against elves? that makes no sense?#and there are a zillion other more reasonable ways to interpret that line of dialogue?#like that geralt is not going to like jaskier telling a story that contradicts what geralt believes to be true?#which is like… already an established thing for them although jaskier usually is actually making stuff up#that and the ones that seem to imply that the show thinks merwyn is a totally morally upstanding person are the ones that bother me#the rest is either accurate but i don’t really care#or like ‘am i confused about book lore? *checks the wiki* nope—you are confused about book lore#maybe you should do some research before assuming the show changed something’
