so i was thinking about relationships bc of my ask game and. maybe this is just me but i really do feel like kaede and shuichi’s dynamic was a lot less interesting bc of the way it felt like the game was trying so hard to force it to be cutesy and romantic. it also kinda bothers me that their relationship takes up so much of kaede’s screentime bc it ends up being the only thing people ever discuss with her :((

#squishy talks too much #i don’t necessarily think saimatsu is forced like some people say #but something about their romantic interactions just…#doesn’t really seem natural?#kaede flirting with the other girls just feels a lot more natural #than her being romantic with shuichi #i just think that so much energy was focused in romantic saimatsu #when it’s so like… go girl give us nothing!!!#i would have liked to see some platonic saimatsu #as well as kaede getting more time to interact with other characters #then again the best solution #is to not literally get rid of her after a single chapter :((#about kaedes <3
