makeup ask for whenever you want :) do you have any tips for matching lip and cheek products to your complexion? I usually wear a mauve or berry shade, but I feel meh about it

oh yes! i have been very into this lately!!! i've been going down the ~Color Season Typing~ instagram/reddit rabbit hole recently... i think i am a Bright Winter (leaning towards bright spring sometimes) and i have had sooooo much fun trying out a limited palette with my wardrobe and makeup. I have added SO much hot pink in and my inner Baby Liz is thrilled :') i have also started wearing red lipstick almost every day to work and people are soooooooo nice to me when i wear ruby woo, for some unknown reason. rolling with it tho (thumbs up emoji)

i will say tho i do not think color season typing is really that good at creating a palette for non-white ppl a lot of the time, which vexes me greatly. it can be ok for narrowing down warm vs cool undertone but then it gets so arcane from there..... they made up so many new little sub-seasons that really only account for white features. it makes me crazy
