#i really think some twt phannies need to adopt the#don’t like/don’t engage#mindset because#i just saw somebody who posted a screenshot of a phyuri fic#to say that writers are so quick because it’s them on their pheriods after the last video#and somebody quoted it saying they find it weird to write smut because they’re real people. and i just#really don’t like that this is STILL something we have to discuss#i read that fic it was so lovely and sweet. and if you don’t like smut that’s obviously so okay#but to just repeat the same thing that’s been going on for so many years and specifically quoting somebody’s fic that they worked hard to#make. if somebody quoted my fic with that it would make me so anxious#you don’t have to like smut but can we please just respect that#1. there is always going to be smut fic#2. not liking something doesn’t mean it’s morally bad#and 3. fic writers work hard and it is a form of self expression and art#dnp are not only okay with us writing fic they actually kind of brag about it#so it’s just your own discomfort. which is fine. but don’t bring somebody’s piece of work into that. just don’t#read it
