Misa amane with a god complex?

so i know that i’m like two weeks late at replying to this but honestly that’s because at first i was confused about like what u mean and what promoted this and then i forgot ajdkxhkdjf

but basically!!!! yes!!!

im gonna rant rn but like. this is just one of my favorite concepts/aus in general. bc like one of the things that made light so super interesting to watch in my opinion is precisely his god complex and honestly i just really would love to see misa be unhinged in exactly that way. like obv i’d still want that au version to be HER through and through just with that aspect added yk? like maybe in a way that rem falling for misa wouldn’t just be convenient for her but it’d also be fuel to the fire for her to either get a bigger god complex or maybe for that to be the main reason she gets one!!! and like maybe in an au like that, misa would hunger for power similarly or maybe even more than light did!!

because the thing w my interpretation of her is that when she has her mind set on a goal she’d do anything to achieve it yk? just like how she wanted to meet kira and bc of that became the second kira yk? i feel like if she WANTED power instead of just wanting to be with light, she could’ve been so fucking dangerous. Like especially if she didn’t kill rem but used her more as a like lasting pawn yk? though this is kinda getting into ooc territory lol
