i found a folded schedule and campus map from 2014 in a book at my university’s library today. almost a decade it went untouched. my heart hurts i love life
#the pages it was between were in the chapter i needed too#sobbing#i didn’t even want to move it but i had to so i could finish working#i had to find a certain section for my prof and there weren’t any copies online#my dumbass crawling all over the shelves trying to match the letters + numbers on the call tag i found online#all the check out stamps in the front say 1999… 2001… i could cry#when i saw that i kind of just stood in the bookshelf aisle like. oh wow#in 1999 someone was just like me#except scanning and pictures didn’t exist so they had to take it to their dorm to read and had to keep coming back week after week to renew#it because they were so obsessed with writing about it for their class and couldn’t let it go#+ fighting with everyone else over the singular copy available#and then the next semester there was someone else and then…#TAKING OICTURES W THEIR PHOJE *** SORRY I NEVER REREAD#i just needed to get smth rq from the book so i left it behind after but it was so bittersweet :( like me n u are forever connected… ilu#yes i took the papers i found for. reasons. they are my treasures now
