stein makes coffee in the morning for both of them ( stein takes his black, spirit takes his with milk, sugar, and cinnamon ). spirit’s convinced stein into going out and discovering somewhere new in the city every month. restaurants, shops, cafes, whatever. whenever they go to a bookstore, they go and pick books for each other. speaking of books, they basically have their own little book club. they may or may not have gotten into a fight about the picture of dorian gray

stein has a love affair with true crime shows and documentaries. can probably recite most forensic files episodes. in exchange for getting nightmares from the third special about ted bundy, spirit gets stein to watch the bachelor/the bachelorette with him. stein is actually very invested. they also like competitive reality shows about like, creativity, like face off or project runway or drag race

they do double dates with marie and azusa every other week

they do a lot of just casual hanging out/cuddling at home. stein grades papers while spirit lays in his lap and watches tv. spirit is v physically affectionate, so he’s almost always hugging or laying on stein. stein complains ( but he doesn’t actually mind ). tuesday is spirit’s choice date night, and thursday is stein’s choice date night

who made the first move

unsurprisingly, spirit did. stein’s dense as hell, what did you expect. spirit had to just drop all pretenses and be blunt. “stein i want to DATE YOU, you THICK, THICC IDIOT.” still took stein like three months to realize spirit was being serious and not fucking with him

who brings flowers home

spirit brings bouquets home on special occasions, but stein often will bring home wildflowers he finds while going on walks, which spirit will argue is way sweeter
