thoughts on how adeline adjusts to her varying levels of disability throughout her time at the research hall? (mobility aids, etc)

This is kind of a funny question because on one hand i want to have a real answer. On the other hand the research hall has such a videogamey layout it is composed entirely of very steep rotating stairs with no railings or barely functioning elevators. Do you guys think the nightmare twisted it to make it stupider or did someone have to be assigned to be in the rafters all day to rotate the stairs every hour or so because otherwise half the floors are impossible to access. Imagine getting enlisted by the healing church research team just to do that for a living. I quite love it. ANYWAY my personal hc is that she was already chronically ill and bloodsainthood did not help that in the slightest (support group for girls who faint when they try to walk more than 10 minutes) and especially not the research hall experiments which would leave her even weaker. Im no expert on the victorian era and its not something you see talked about regarding that era but i think i can safely assume that period of time was not. Particularly great for physically (and generally tbqh) disabled people LOL and yharnam would be no exception Especially when the city is so cartoonishly twisted and fucked up. The amount of stairs and irregular paving you see in central yharnam alone (not to even mention old yharnam) is a lot. I got lost again sorry but anyway i see her as using a cane for a while, i feel shes the sort to try and pretend shes fine and push herself to her limit way too often so she would only ever really start doing it when it got bad after becoming a blood saint. I could definitely see her using crutches in the early research hall era after she started experiments and would end up using wheelchairs more than just occasionally as her state deteriorated as a mix of whatever the fuck they were doing, severe anemia from that + her role as blood saint + everything making her chronic illnesses worse when she was already prone to them. She most likely wasnt able to really move too much by herself by the time the experiments advanced enough to warrant The Bag. Also shes on the ground floor which would seem surprising given most of the rest of the rh is up a few floors however thats also where the balcony is and i always saw it as her asking to be brought there so theres a chance maria mightve negociated that spot for her for ease of access
