do you think bird hybrids also have hollow bones. more importantly do other people in universe know they have hollow bones. i read a fic where grian landed on mumbos shoulders then someone else tried to do it and everyone fell over.

#jasper speaks #its one of my favourite things. bird hybirds must have some INSANE stamina cuz hollow bones mean u weigh like 10% less #(<- roughly)#bird hybrids would also be (on average) shorter #and there would also need to be a way to make a human aerodynamic (or at least more than they currently are. its hard to go down from here)#there would probably need to be changes to the rest of the musculoskeletal system too #because the human body as it is is FAR too heavy for flight.#honestly if humans had wings they would likely just be like. skin #cuz feathers when layered and layered can get heavy very fast #you would need things like. less fingers. thin skulls. smaller organs. bigger lungs. bigger heart.#i imagine replacing feet with talons would make things lighter but im uncertain on that one #i LOVE thinking about stuff like this btw. in my mind constantly. the science of fictional hybrids
