Also, Donovan fun fact: he and the Beatles were buddies! Paul asked Dono for help writing Yellow Submarine (he wrote the lines "skies of blue / seas of green / in our yellow / submarine"), and Dono also helped John write Julia (he contributed "seashell eyes / windy smile"). He taught the Beatles the iconic fingerpicking style found on the White Album! He got some help from them in return– George Harrison wrote a verse for Hurdy Gurdy Man! ...which ultimately didn't make it in, because the song would've been too long to be a single :( but, here it is!

Al once met the Beatles when he was younger and snuck backstage. John asked him to play something on guitar (because he was bored and needed some entertainment aajhdakjf) and Al boldly told him that his amp was too quiet! The next day, headlines were filled with "Lennon's guitar too loud! Ruins whole performance!" So there's that 😂

It's me again! Hi!

Here's a band recommendation: Klaatu!

Formed in 1973, they're named after an alien from a 50s sci-fi film, The Day the Earth Stood Still (which I also recommend :D) . Something very important about this group is that, when they first began, they were completely anonymous. Nobody knew who the members of Klaatu were; all the songs were credited only to "Klaatu" and their named and faces weren't on any covers. Soon, they had a sudden rise in fame due to the spread of a rather bizarre rumour: Klaatu were actually the Beatles, reunited in secret! The rumours weren't directly denied at first... unless the message "Klaatu is Klaatu" counts. After a few albums, they eventually did reveal their real identities (not the Beatles), but the public felt betrayed and they were forgotten as quickly as they appeared. Luckily, they've still got quite a following, and their songs are totally worth the listen!

I would really recommend listening to their albums in full, since they're mainly concept albums that tell stories about space, intergalactic wars, and industrialization (and other things, too! Mostly space, though).

Quarreling with Jean

a/n: hey hey! changed the reader to be gender neutral! hope you don't mind also hmmm I don't believe jean is the type to have petty arguments with his s/o... so whatever it might be, it's probably huge :0 but then again, I've never played his route. what is your take on this though? I'd like to know. + just realised that the pov jumps here and there in this xD sorry about that!

"Stop overworking yourself... That is all I ask," he pleaded you.

"I'm not overworking myself, stop exaggerating." You didn't even turn around to look at him properly, only focused on preparing dinner.

Jean looked at you with a frown, not happy with whatever you said.

He was not exaggerating, in fact, all of the mansion residents believed that you were overworking yourself.

But you say he's exaggerating? Not a single day has passed where you've had proper rest. Working tirelessly, unnecessarily. Looking for more things to do.

Whenever he'd tried to coax you to relax with him, he was always met with "I'm sorry Jean, not now" or "Ah... I still have a few more things to do, tomorrow for sure!"

Like that, many days passed. He knew you had a penchant of keeping yourself occupied, and were quite the workaholic. That is all fine, working is not a problem, but not knowing your limit is.

However, you, don't know your limit and neither have you taken a single rest. That is concerning, not only to him but to everyone else as well.

Jean left the kitchen wordlessly after that. Thinking it was useless to talk you out of this. You'd come to understand sooner or later by yourself.

What he didn't know is that, you thought he was angry with you. Your head was too foggy and tired to actually think properly and decided "oh so we're quarrelling".

And thus, a misunderstanding occured.

And that developed into you ignoring Jean throughout the day.

Meanwhile Jean was left feeling like this: 🧍"what did I do?"

The other mansion residents were also uncomfortable with the tension between you two but couldn't do anything other than... Awkwardly smiling or ignoring the situation entirely. No in between.

But like I said, Jean was feeling very 🧍 so he barely talked with you, thinking back about what he might have done for you to give him the silent treatment.

Jean was laying quietly in his bed when the weather started to act up again. The past few days had been raining heavily, and today was no exception. By night time, it got worse. Now it was raining heavily with thunder and lightening.

Sebastian and you were busy running around to prepare for the sudden thunderstorm, preparing items and food for emergencies. Once most of the major things were wrapped up, you got forcefully sent back to your room to sleep.

Then it hit you. It's thundering and it's loud. The floor and windows were shaking, you could feel it while sleeping in bed too. For a moment there was a flash of white outside the window and then a huge crack followed after.

The loud noises kept you awake even though you tried to sleep, and slowly anxiety creeped in which kept you tossing and turning. Then you also felt the guilt of ignoring Jean. Honestly, you knew he only wanted for you to take a break... And you were in fact overworking yourself.

Perhaps you were mad about the fact that Jean was right, and maybe because he left the kitchen wordlessly afterwards.

A while later, you gave up, grabbed your pillow and slowly sneaked out of your room. You suppose it was time to apologise to your boyfriend and maybe get some snuggles.

It was almost as if Jean was waiting for you

Poor lad, still in the 🧍 phase 😭 but he was glad that you came to him anyways.

Both of you had the talk™ and cleared out the "misunderstanding"

Eventually falling asleep while hugging eachother to sleep.

"Good night," Jean whispered, softly placing a kiss on your head.
