well I think u guys would match for like 927372 reasons, mostly because you would complement each other sO much.

like u know those memes that were like "relationships are 50/50. i do this while they do that." and that would be yOU.

i mean. u know when you said you like hunting the first thing thought was HUNTER and I bet we all did but hunter is a leader, and i think hunting with him wouldn't be tHAT fun bc he'd want to do f everything and no.

sweet cross on the other side, i think he would let you do yOur thing, staying behind as you do the tracking, soft smile on his face bc you're on your element, and he'd be silently melting into a puddle when you go "hey wait look at that" and see something he saw from miles away but wouldn't tell you bc this is your thing you know.

and you know I think extroverts + introverts are like the perfect couple bc it's very well balanced. like, you can take him away from his comfort zone from times to times, pushing him to give this small step towards something cool and fun but he can also show you the pleasantries of the Introverts™ like maybe staying in and having a good time while playing sabacc, making some food, dancing around the living room. u know. cool stuff too.

AND YOU KNOW !!! sassy and a smartass that's like. crosshair by all means. you guys would sass each other and make these smartass remarks that could last forever and it probably ends in heavy make out sessions just to shut the other up. (the batch HATES when you do that tho.)

also ??? I feel like crosshair would like horror movies as well??? like. he lOves them and probably is trash for slashers but the boys almost never wants to watch those movies bc wrecker gets a bit uneasy and and a bit jumpy for the next week.

SO YEAH. watching horror movies is yOUr thing definitely, and he's always like "predictable" and he laughs if you ever get scared, hugging you close and holding your hand.

AND !!! FISHING !!! OMG

so. i don't think clones know fishing is an actual thing. everyone's too busy and no one knows about what civvies do for fun besides the obvious.

and there's this one time you take crosshair with you to this lake not so far from where you landed, and he tries to look all pissed off because he doesn't want to go and it's a waste of time but he loves you and he would do ANYTHING for you.

so you're sitting on some rocks or BETTER YET !! you're on this lil boat, sitting side to side, he's on your left, shoulders almost touching. and he steals some lil glances of you from time to time.

and the last rays of sun shine bright on the water, reflecting the warmth of the sky that turns from light blue to dark orange, and the clouds litter across the vast pastels of up above. crosshair can see the few insects that had come for supper, as you had said on your way there, he hears a fish jump to catch one and the little waves it makes make the sunset glitch.

"are you liking this so far?"

crosshair thinks for a second, but still there's not much to think about. he finds himself actually adoring the calm and quietness fishing brings, and he takes a small look at your profile, looking like glowing, and there's this feeling that swells on his chest.

"yeah," he says, eyes falling back to his hands on the handle, and he pulls at the rod a bit like you taught him, "I suppose."

always dismissive, hiding whatever that could give away he's more than just the walls he put around him.

you hum, nodding, sparing a smile to him without his knowledge and that's that.

the only sound is the one the fish do when they jump and land back on the depth of the lake, a few insects and the flow of the water, there's the smallest of cascades not so far from where you are and he feels strangely like home.

maybe it's because you are there, too.

you begin to sing, a soft murmur that envelopes him like a warm blanket, and he can't hold back the grin that appears on his lips.

home is not a place, he knows. it's you, wherever you take him.
