          it’s  a  busy  day     at work for flore,   &   he’s rather careful with the blooms of spring   &   flowering in his possession.     gentle palming of the blossoms as he,   with tender gazes glazed with morning dew,   saturates leaves   &   petals with water by spray bottle.     though,   by the   provocation   of a predator   &   the   insight   of a harmed pounce,   he turns the bottle to his side   &   cuts his eyes to that direction.     vivid hues turn to the other,   &   his lips purse impossibly in their line of sight.          ❛     don’t   bruise the flowers.     they only bloom once     ;     they have short enough of a life as it is.     ❜
