I have a question about your Hetch and the extent of his mind control!

In your reference(??) drawing for him you mentioned how his mask works like a combination of the standard SFM employee mask and Ranboo's mask, but what exactly does that mean? What actions were actually his and what were showfall? How much control did he have in comparison for ranboo?

I apologize if you may have explained some of this on twitter already as I personally don't use Twitter anymore but I love your take on hetch

in my take or headcanon or whatever the showfall masks are a large part of why they act like drones. on the behind the scenes genloss twitter acc theres an image of the corkboard and one of the office regulations is "do not at any time take your mask off. you are required to wear this at all hours." the control on the employees makes them lifeless and only moving to do work and its only helped with their masks

ranboos mask i dont need to explain, the way we see it in the show is how we see it in the au

now hetch. hetch's mask works like ranboos in the sense that hes aware of what hes doing, but is unable to work against it. its much worse than ranboos where most if not every single one of his actions is controlled by sfm when he's not on set, which is how its like the employee one

that and originally hetch was supposed to be a drone in this au! his mask in the au has the technology of the employee mask but its modified to lean a bit more like the hero mask if that makes sense. he's still an employee (he works the cameras n switches scenes n what not) but he still has a character IN the show to play as well

when he was first brought on (right before the tse time loops start), he had a lot more control of himself, but right before ranboo takes his mask off, hes basically a husk, stuck watching his body move on its own behind his eyes. theres a few factors as to why his autonomy (idk if thats the right word D:) is taken away but this is also long already so may this twitter thread suffice (heed the warning!!!). this post is abt the primary reason why his control was stripped away as time went on :]
