I don't want to be controversial but I don't think it's good to use Kylo Ren as your pfp. There is a lot of information about his character and his relationship with the First Order representing Nazi beliefs.

hey ! i appreciate you coming to me politely 100%. and i've been intending on changing the entire aesthetics / icon / graphics of this blog for a bit i just won't be able to tonight.

there are many parallels between nazis / fictional groups, first order from star wars and death eaters from harry potter are two large groups that i think of first. which is why i've shied / stopped writing them in the past at not wanting to appear sympathetic to these ideologies.

when i decided to write him, and other villainous characters that i do find compelling as characters, it was my goal to do them justice. not to sympathize them, to woobify, or to sugarcoat the things they've done and the roles they play in greater realms. i also write anakin skywalker, i write regina mills, i write rodolphus lestrange, even the darkling! - these are all characters that are incredibly vile in their actions and beliefs, and i am interested as a writer to explore the complexities of those choices and that villainy.

as i put in my pinned post, this does not mean i condone or agree with their actions or beliefs. but as a writer - i find characters compelling, and sometimes that includes the bad guys. but it isn't meant to be sympathetic nor apologetic towards their actions as their belief systems.

again i thank you for coming so politely ! and i don't disagree with you remotely concerning the first order = nazism. so this isn't me invalidating your opinion or disagreeing necessarily, just my point of view? and if this makes you uncomfortable then i fully understand if you feel the need to unfollow or block!
