warumono-san au samaichi, haven't thought about these two in a hot second but imagine warutoki taking red ranger ichiro back to visit his home planet one day (or dimension? did i have warutoki from a different dimension instead of a different galaxy in this au i think i did lol)

anyway it's practically their honeymoon and they're having a grand old time. ichiro's getting to meet and give scritches to all sorts of new fantastical creatures. he's trying new foods and learning new recipes that he'll try to recreate for samatoki back home. he's marveling at the fact that samatoki has a castle in this world, and sleeping so comfycozy with all of samatoki's big warm fluffy tails wrapped around him every night (though they do that back home too)

it's just a weekend getaway, ichiro's got red ranger work to get back to on monday but

due to some interdimensional space-time fuckery, the passage of time got all screwed up and by the time they get home ichiro has been gone for two weeks and the media has worked itself and the general public into a frenzy of "oh my god! the mad dog of the interdimensional league of ultimate evil came out of retirement and kidnapped ranger red!!"

(when jiro and saburo try to tell people no really it's not like that, it becomes "oh my god! the interdimensional league of ultimate evil has brainwashed ranger blue and ranger yellow!" <- i don't remember if jirosabu were rangers in this au actually... but they should be)

so. anyway. ichiro has a lot of explaining to do and many apologies to make. luckily he brought souvenirs
