I LOVE THIS INTERPRETATION AND IM GOING TO ADD MY OWN VIEW!!!
I still view Victim’s return to be him coming back from the dead. Somehow.
So if his change of color wasnt just done to differentiate him from chosen, and considering that he did “die” by getting deleted, he could definitely be gray because of the whole being dead thing
So, I know I'm a little (very) late to the AvA stuff, but I was rewatching AvM Season 3 for the seven hundredth time and, well, I noticed something and I'm curious to know if it's been discussed before.
AvM Episode 29, Purple's story, specifically, Pink's death.
Her color changes as she dies, or is represented to have died.
It fades to grey.
Now, the question is, can we, or rather should we, use this to infer anything lore-related? Was this just an artistic choice to depict the act of becoming unhealthy/dying, or could this be what actually happens to stick figures that die over a period of time? Are their colors linked to their health?
Let's have a bit of fun with it, and presume that the fading of one's color can happen to a stick figure for health-related reasons, as the scene could imply.
This fading seems to involve loosing the saturation of one's color into grey. Saturation is how vibrant a color is, and the complete lack of saturation is greyscale.
The World-of-Alan reason for Pink's death is that she 'got sick', which is where the health connection of this theory comes from. If she did loose her color as she was dying as the notes depict, that loss of color was likely a result of her failing health rather than any other factors, like age or outside variables. A whole bunch of human body stuff are indicators for good vs poor health, including skin color (jaundice and cyanasis are good examples) so why not a stick's color for them?
What if, when they fully die, they lose all of their original color?
Now, let me propose this…
Who else do we know of who has had their color loose vibrancy?
What if Victim's color has lightened because he's ill?
#ok i didnt actually add much to this but still#i hope him coming back from the dead doesn’t get debunked in future episodes because i need ghost victim to be CANON!!!#“what is victim's sick? ignore the major ass-kicking he gave chosen in ep10 let's just contemplate this theory.”#that being said i am still very curious to see if there will be a canon/lore reason for it bc i think it'd be neat#alternative victim's color crack theory: he's just old for a stick figure.#oh yeah being 17 is soo old….. (is 17)#bonus angst: king gets the flu at some point and his color dulls a little bit as he's sick and purple freaks the hell out#bc he thinks king is dying like his mother#but king is totally confused he's just like “kid chill it's just the flu”-

The tape (part 7)
Part: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Your pov:
You made it to the car before the tears started. They were rapidly falling down your cheeks, clouding your vision and your mind. Of course Niall had said that, of course he thought you were making a mistake going back to Harry so quickly. Hell, EVERYONE probably thought it was a mistake to trust him so easily again, but no one knew. They didn’t know how you felt, how Harry felt, or everything the two of you had gone through together. They knew nothing and yet they all had the audacity to judge your actions in the situation. You started the car, needing to get away from his house as fast as possible, but also having no idea where to go. You didn’t want to go home. You didn’t want Harry to see you like this and risk him getting upset and losing whatever feelings he had figured out with Niall, thus being the person to once again ruin One Directions already uncertain future. You also didn’t want to drive to Liam or Louis’ and involve them after your previous conversation where you told them to back off and let you and Harry figure it out on your own. You pulled out of the driveway, looking in the mirror as you left, Niall sitting on the porch in tears, calling out your name. You almost went back, almost gave him another chance to explain, but you also knew he needed to be sober and willing to talk before that would ever work out.
You decided a drive would be good, but you didn’t have anywhere specific in mind you wanted to go. You just thought that a little wind in your hair with your music blaring was exactly the distraction you needed before going home to Harry and explaining the events that had unfolded. You turned the volume up, rolled the windows down and sang along, “why men great till they gotta be great, woo, I just took a DNA test, turns out, I’m 100% that bitch.” you stopped at the red light, quieting your singing when the car next to you looked over with concerned faces. You probably looked like a crazy woman, tear stained cheeks, puffy eyes, and singing Lizzy at the top of your lungs, it was almost a cry for help. You heard your phone buzzing and looked down at Harry’s name. You reached for the phone, which had fallen to the floor on the passenger’s side, when everything stopped, your vision went black, and the loud boom of a car hitting yours echoed through the intersection.
Harry’s pov:
It had been hours since (y/n) had left to go talk to Niall, HOURS. It shouldn’t have taken that long. Harry had texted her, called, and yet no response which was abnormal. Normally she would at least send a text back letting him know that everything was going okay. He had complete trust in her, but something wasn’t sitting right about the situation. He dialed Niall’s number, hoping to get some clarification but there was no answer from him either. He paced around the living room anxiously. What if she decided to chose Niall, what if she decided he was right, leaving Harry in the process. Harry’s heart was pounding in his chest, he had just gotten her back, he couldn’t lose her, not again. He clicked another contact and held the phone to his ear anxiously awaiting the answer. “Louis?”
“What do ya want now, fooking hell Harry, can’t seem to do anything without getting a call from you these days.”
“Sorry...sorry....it’s just-”
“Lemme guess, (y/n).”
“She’s been gone for hours...neither her or Niall are answering...I don’t know what to do.”
“Well I’m about to pull into Niall’s so I’ll let you know what they are up to.”
“Why are you at Niall’s?”
“He wanted to watch the game together. I didn’t know (y/n) was going over or I would’ve held off but I’m about there now so its a little late. I’ll send her home to you.”
Harry sighed and bit his lip, “I just want to know she’s okay...”
“I’m sure she is mate, just relax. I’m literally two minutes from his driveway.”
“You don’t think she would-”
“She’s not gettin it on with Niall. I think it’s pretty obvious who she loves and it isn’t the Irish lad.”
“Yeah, I’m probably just overreacting.”
“Exactly. Okay, I’m pulling in now. I don’t see her car...did she drive herself?”
“Yeah...yeah she would have her car.”
“Well maybe she’s on her way home...hang on Niall is on the porch, I’ll ask him.”
“Okay..” Harry’s nerves were going insane, he couldn’t even stand still. Something just didn’t feel right.
“Niall, when did (y/n) leave...” he heard Louis shouting to Niall but couldn’t quite make out the answer. “Are you sure?”
“What? What is it?”
“Niall says she left an hour ago.” Harry’s heart sank. If she wasn’t at Niall’s where was she? “I’m sure everything is okay...” Louis tried to reassure him, but it wasn’t working.
Harry hung up and dialed her number again, but there was still no answer. He called again, “come on (y/n).....answer.....answer....” No answer. He hung up and texted her, *everything okay? where are you?* He sat down and tried to think of what else to do...he might be able to track the phone but that wasn’t likely..she had blocked him from her location after the sex tape leaked. *Just let me know you are okay....Im getting worried* He dropped the phone to the couch and picked up the remote to turn on the tv, maybe some Friends would take his mind off it. He clicked resume on the episode and tried to focus but his phone buzzing immediately had his hopes up. “(y/n)?” he answered before looking at the number.
“No. It’s me.”
“Louis what the hell.”
“Turn on the news...”
“Why?”
“Just do it.”
“Fine.” He turned the tv to cable and went to the local news station. “All I see is they are reporting an accident....”
“Yeah. Doesn’t that look like (y/n)’s car though?”
Harry’s breath was pulled from his chest as he anxiously waited for the car to be shown. There it was. A black car, he couldn’t quite make out the model but it looked like (y/n)’s. “We are currently awaiting police reports from the incident but can confirm there are two dead, and three that were care flighted in critical condition after the accident occurred. We will have more information for you right after the break.”
“Harry?” Louis’ voice cut through the silence. “It’s probably not her...”
“It was her car. I know it was. I mean I think-”
“Why don’t you come over to Niall’s and we can wait for more news...You shouldn’t be alone.”
“Yeah...yeah okay I will.”
“Alright good. See you soon.” Louis hung up and Harry grabbed his keys, trying to shake the thought from his head. Two dead.....was she one of the two? Was she in the hospital? Was she okay? His heart sank, the feeling of pressure on his chest. She had to be okay.
He drove to Niall’s fast, faster than he should’ve. He almost drove by the accident site, just to confirm if it was her car, but the traffic was lined up miles down the road as they had shut the intersection down due to the accident. He made it to Niall’s and pushed through the door, tears already in his eyes. “Are there any updates?” he sat down on the couch not even looking at Niall and Louis. Louis shifted uncomfortably and looked at Niall who put his head down. Harry looked over at them, his eyes searching for answers.
“Well...they explained that the white car there, they weren’t paying attention or some shit and slammed into the two other cars, the black and the what color is that? Green?” Louis was trying to explain it but Harry could barely listen as they showed the totaled cars.
“Two died so far, the other three are in the hospital with serious injuries.” Niall finished. He looked at Harry and sighed like he wanted to say more but also that he understood the situation and that it wasn’t the time.
“Is (y/n) okay?” Liam came walking in, looking around at the others sitting on the couch.
“We don’t know...there hasn’t been any news.” Louis said looking at Harry for any sign of emotion. Harry didn’t know what to feel. He felt hollow, like there was nothing left. He felt the way he had when (y/n) had pushed him away at Louis’ the night he tried talking to her. If (y/n) was gone, there was no hope left for him, he wasn’t sure he would ever be okay again without her.
“Well has anyone had any contact with her?” Liam was trying to be logical, trying to debunk the theory that it wasn’t her.
“Niall was the last one who talked to her.” Harry spat, looking at Niall. “He was the one who saw her last.”
“Did she say where she was going?” Liam looked at Niall who shook his head.
“We didn’t- she didn’t- we didn’t really end on the greatest of terms.”
Harry laughed, frustrated with the whole situation. “Of course.”
“What’s that supposed ta mean?” Niall stood up walking towards Harry.
“It means, she came to give you a second chance and you must've fucking blew it.”
“You know why I blew it?” Niall poked Harry’s chest. “Because I told her it was a fuckin mistake to trust you and go back to you after you fuckin cheated on her.”
Harry pushed Niall back, “You know what the mistake was? Trusting you with the sex tape secret. If I had told anyone else we wouldn’t be in this problem.”
“I should’ve told her the minute I found out, then at least her leaving you would've been on account for your actions and not mine.”
“She’s not leaving me.” Harry growled. “We are working things out.”
“Oh yeah?” Niall mocked. “Then why was she here? Why was she trying to talk ta me about the sex tape, about everything that happened?”
“Because she’s a better person than you will ever be. She’s trying to mend the relationship she had with you, so that you two can stay friends.”
“Friends? I wouldn’t say that. I think there’s something more there than she wants ta admit.”
“She told me she thought of you like a brother. Maybe you shouldn’t even get the title of friend though after breaking her down once again..”
“Then why did she let me kiss her huh?” Harry didn’t even say anything, his fist collided with Niall’s cheek, sending Niall stumbling back. Louis grabbed Niall, and Liam grabbed Harry, separating them before anything else could happen. “That’s right. She could be dead and the last person to kiss her was me. How’s that make ya feel Harry?”
“Both of you need to shut the fuck up. This isn’t helping anything.” Liam let go of Harry and stepped between him and Niall.
“Seriously. All that should matter is (y/n).” Louis relaxed his grip on Niall and looked at Harry. “You two need to figure out your differences as well, this is getting old. Niall, (y/n) doesn’t love you the way you love her. It’s been obvious for years and we should’ve said something then. Harry you can’t blame Niall. You can only blame the other car for hitting her, if it even is her we don’t know.”
“Louis’ right.” Liam stepped back. “Niall you kissing (y/n) was just stupid, I mean what did you expect would happen. I think anyone of us would hit you after admitting that. Now you two work this out, Louis and I are going to call and order dinner since this seems like it could be a long night.”
Louis and Liam left the room, leaving Niall and Harry sitting on the couch glaring at each other. Neither wanted to speak first, but someone was going to have to. Niall touched his cheek where Harry had hit him and winced. “It was a good shot.” Niall commented.
“Thanks...been working on it for a while.”
“I can tell, really got me good. PR is gonna have a fit when it bruises.” Harry laughed and tried to be mad, but Niall sighed and shook his head. “I’m sorry. I only did it to see if there was something there. She pushed me off immediately though, said she only ever loved you. I should’ve accepted it but I pushed her farther and she left upset. It’s my fault she is where she is now”
“No.” Harry shook his head. “It’s not your fault. It’s not mine.” He looked over at Niall. “This was wrong place, wrong time. The rest of the situation doesn't matter. So you kissed her, or got into an argument about me being a dick, you can’t control her, no one can.” Harry laughed lightly. “That’s something I’ve always loved about her. She never does what she’s told. She's too independent for that.” He stood up, pacing the room again, trying to distract himself from the situation.
“She's going to be okay.” Niall stood up and walked over, pulling Harry into a tight hug. Harry felt the tears falling down his cheek, he held tightly onto Niall and nodded.
“Now that’s better.” Louis nodded approvingly. He carried a couple beers out and offered them up. Niall took one, downing most of it in one sip but Harry pushed the bottle away. He wasn’t in the mood, not when he didn't know where (y/n) was or if she was okay....or alive.
“Have you checked your phone at all Harry?” Liam asked sitting down with a bag of chips.
Harry looked around and shook his head. “I thought the sound was on and haven't heard anything but I’m not sure...” He grabbed his phone from the floor and looked at it. There were a few twitter notifications but other than that nothing. He dropped it to the couch and stood up. “Should I call the hospital and ask?”
Louis shook his head, “you’re not family, they won’t give you any information even if she is there.”
“Maybe you could call her family?” Niall suggested.
“Who was her emergency contact?” Liam asked, taking another handful of chips from the bag Niall had stolen.
“I was...I’m not sure if she changed it or not...” Harry’s head dropped and he stared at the phone, willing it to give him some kind of answer.
“Check your home camera’s, maybe she made it home and her phone is dead or somethin.” Liam suggested.
Harry pulled up the livestream and shook his head. “She’s not home.” He sighed, “Maybe I should just drive by the scene and explain the situation. They might be able to give me some answ-” Harry’s phone ringing stopped him dead. He stared at the name and wave of relief washed through him when her name popped up. “(y/n), thank god, you had me worried sick.”
“Mr. Styles, this is Officer Watson..” Harry’s heart fell, the phone fell out of his hand and he sat there frozen, unable to answer. Something had happened to her.
Louis picked up the phone, “Hello? Ah, yes, Officer Watson, this is Louis Tomlinson how do you do?” He looked at Harry and then at the others and then at his feet. “Yes, I’ve got Harry here with me...yeah...yeah I do believe that’s correct that he was her emergency contact....” Harry looked up with tears in his eyes and Louis bit his lip. “Is she- is she okay?”
“Put him on speaker mate.” Liam whispered.
Louis put it on speaker and continued on, “Yeah...yeah we saw there was an accident...is she okay though?”
Everyone held there breath, Harry looked like he was about to pass out, Niall looked sick, and Liam just looked nervous. “Well...the accident was pretty bad, and unfortunately-” Harry broke into a sob, interrupting the answer and Louis shook his head.
“Sorry about that, do continue.”
“Yes, well, unfortunately (y/n) was injured in the accident. She was taken to the hospital unconscious. I don’t have any more information to share with you, but did want to let you know she will be there and that they are accepting Harry Styles, as her medical contact to show up eventually. Sorry to have to inform you of this...if you have any questions contact our department, otherwise, we hope everything works out.”
“Yes...yeah, thank you mate, Harry will be on his way. We will contact you with more questions in the future. Alright bye.” Louis hung up and handed Harry’s phone to him. Harry’s eyes were rimmed with red already, his breathing fast and unnatural. “Harry...” Louis tried shaking him, looking at the other guys for help. “Harry you need to go to the hospital..”
“What if she’s dead?”
“He said she was alive when she got there, so come on.” Louis grabbed Harry’s arm and pulled him up. “If she wakes up alone, she’s going to be scared to death, do you really want that? Do you want her waking up alone?”
Harry shook his head and stood up. “Will...will you guys come as well?” They nodded and Louis grabbed his keys, ushering everyone in the car.
The drive to the hospital was silent, no one in the mood to talk and the only sound was coming from Harry who holding back sobs. Louis pulled up to the ER and let Harry out so that he could run inside while they parked the car.
Harry walked up to the desk, wiping his tears and holding his breath, unsure of what he was about to find.”Hi, uhm I’m Harry Styles...my girlfriend (y/n) was brought in here from an accident....the...the officer said that I would be able to come in and and see her....”
The nurse looked up at him with her mouth open, clearly not expecting Harry Styles to walk in. Harry nervously tapped the counter, waiting for her to answer. He wiped a tear that was falling and stared at the girl again. Louis, Liam, and Niall came running up behind him, looking at the girl as well. “Did ya find anythin out?” Niall asked.
“Not yet...” Harry mumbled. “Excuse me...I’m looking for (y/n)...she was brought in by ambulance or or by careful flight im not exactly sure...”
The nurse stared again, looking from one boy to the other, mouth open in shock. Louis was getting impatient, tapping his foot. “Okay. If you won't give us answers we will find someone else.”
“No..No sorry. Uh, yes. (y/n)....(y/n)...ah she came in an hour or so ago with the other victims of the accident. Uh she is still unconscious...” she looked at the boys again. “I have Harry listed as the emergency contact which means he is able to go into the room but until she's transferred out of the ICU, he’s the only visitor allowed. Her room number is 12A. It’s on the left down this hallway.” she pointed to the right and smiled.
“We will wait out in the car for you Harry. Let us know what happens okay?” Liam clapped Harry on the back and pulled him into a hug. The other guys nodded and followed Liam out while Harry moved to the right side of the hallway.
“12A....12A....” he finally came to the room. The door was closed and lights dimmed. He had no idea what he was walking into but he knew he needed to see her. He pushed open the door, his breath catching as his eyes caught sight of her. She was unconscious...just as the nurse had said, her small frame in the big bed. Her face had a nasty bruise and some cuts, but other than that he couldn’t tell the damage. He sat in the chair next to the bed and gripped her hand, softly rubbing his fingers over the cold skin. She was ice cold. He placed a kiss on her palm and then touched his head to the back of her hand, whispering, “(y/n)....(y/n) if you- if you can hear me....I-I just wanted to let you know I’m here....and I’m not going anywhere.”
---
So I know this seems a little dramatic....BUT I wanted it to be something big that brought everyone back together....ALSO since I’m already on part 7....I figured I would extend the story to make it an even 10 parts...Now the 10th part is actually just going to be the story and all the parts added together in one extra large story so stayed tuned!
Will (y/n) wake up? Will she be okay? Will she remember Harry and the boys? Will they make it through the next hurdle?
xoxo

About those Tyrion endgame spoilers...
As I mentioned to an anon earlier this week, I went back and rewatched two of Friki’s videos discussing his information and details around it and S8.
The post is long and full of spoilers.
Between [ ] are my comments, in light of 8x01-04. If it sounds in first person it’s because I directly translated some larger parts so just think of it as subtitles of their videos :))
The very first video is this one here from October 25th 2018.
In this video friki & javi say that Bryan Cogman was there at the meeting between GRRM & D&D where GRRM told them the ending of the books. So these are the 4 people who know the ending of GoT and ASOIAF.
There are 2 more people who each know a different part of the ending: the editor of GRRM and person who adapts the books to comic books (5 volumes for now) – so these 2 realised just in 2017 that they had different parts of the ending, so when they met and talked about it, they put the two together and discovered the entire ending. The editor knew the ending of Bran Stark, and the comics adaptor knew the ending of Tyrion Lannister.
Friki is the one who uncovered the Tyrion trial spoiler – Friki’s sources are different from Javi’s. But after Friki’s sources told him about the Tyrion trial, Javi’s sources corroborated the info.
Friki’s info about Tyrion’s trial for treason came from a verified and sure source, directly from the filming of the Dragon Pit site aka Italica in Sevilla. Javi’s other 2 sources (that don’t even know Friki, that Friki doesn’t even know them) that have corroborated the info, are also very sure and reliable (one of which Javi calls special and close to him), and they confirmed that what they filmed in Italica was Tyrion’s trial for treason.
An important nuance to this info: in the trial, the person who leads the trial is Ser Davos Seaworth, but he is using Bran’s testimony, who we can safely say that keeping in mind the previous seasons’ flashbacks, is the most reliable witness one can hope for. And we know they intended to use a similar scene in Littlefinger’s trial, which they deleted, but in which Sansa and Arya went to Bran and asked him for help with Littlefinger, and Bran used his abilities to go back and confirm his treasons. Javi believes they took this scene out to make it even more shocking and dramatic (and so that we’d think Arya was on trial).
In Tyrion’s trial, Bran will be more important, he will speak and he will relate a private conversation between Catelyn Stark and Tyrion Lannister. Friki’s sources told him a phrase that will be revealed “I never bet against my family”, which they haven’t said in the show, but this direct phrase can still change obviously (before the official episode), because he was told that Tyrion’s monologue to defend himself is so good that he would be shocked if he doesn’t get another Emmy for it, it will be very dramatic and emotional [in the books: "Whatever you may believe of me, Lady Stark, I promise you this – I never bet against my family." And I know some people dismissed Friki for this, but Friki never claimed Tyrion said this in the show…].
Circling back, why does the person who adapts the story to the comics knows the endgame of Tyrion Lannister? There’s a phrase from Game of Thrones that’s the theme of Tyrion’s entire arc (which Javi is sure it’s very possible to be this exact phrase Friki heard). The story goes that this dude gave GRRM the first draft of his transformation of 800-900 pages in comic books. And apparently GRRM told him “you’re missing a phrase that is vital for Tyrion’s last scene from the last book”. If we connect this with the fact that the adaptor of the comics said that GRRM told him Tyrion’s ending, then it makes sense for this to fit with what Friki and Javi have corroborated from their sources. This makes Friki think we see the trial and potentially the death (that they cannot confirm because it wasn’t filmed in Seville) through Bran Stark’s eyes aka POV – so if GRRM’s editor knows Bran’s endgame then it means we will get Tyrion’s ending from Bran’s POV (in the books). Which would make sense, because the very first chapter (notwithstanding the prologue) of the books is Bran’s POV, which also relates an execution. In a previous video Javi and Friki were speculating and saying how it would make sense for Bran to close the books, just as he opened them, since it’s a common technique books use. So wouldn’t it be cool to see the echo of that first trial Bran witnesses, of a dude that has been executed for deserting the NW because he claims to have seen the Others, so Ned Stark takes his head (“The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword”)? Javi thinks that it is very important to remember that Ned Stark didn’t care the motives for which the man deserted the NW, the only important thing for him was that he abandoned the NW (here it was to tell humanity about the Others); the punishment for it is death, so he is executed. Hence, he thinks in Tyrion’s trial, it will not matter the reasons why he did it, just that he did it, and the punishment for treason is death. Javi here was thinking it would be a great echo and parallel if Tyrion would kill innocents so that they wouldn’t be turned into Others (wights) [keep in mind, at this point they both thought the NK could arrive in KL, but it was just a theory, not a leak]. So both the NW’s deserter and Tyrion are judged and sentenced, and then executed, and both times from Bran’s POV.
Friki interjects and says Javi just said a semi-spoiler when he said “a person sentenced for provoking the death of innocents” – so then he links this to the new spoilers Javi has: what happened in Belfast? Javi’s sources in Belfast, also very reliable, told him the last scene Peter Dinklage filmed for GoT (which ofc is not the scene that is to come after the one of the trial in Seville, because they don’t film in chronological order, but depending on the sets and schedules and availabilities) this is confirmed as Peter’s last scene in GoT in the last episode; it is not the very last scene of the episode, but one of the scenes of the last episode. Javi keeps saying Peter will definitely win an Emmy for his trial monologue in the Dragon Pit aka Seville.
The scene goes: Tyrion is accompanied by two people – Ser Davos Seaworth and (the King or the Future King of the 7K) Jon Snow, walking through King’s Landing. A lot of people kept arguing back and forth on Jon’s survival in the Dance of dragons above KL [debunked or not, we don’t know yet; maybe Friki said this because REMEMBER AT THAT TIME he trusted Boatsexbaby’s info about the DotD above KL!]. All of this (aka the walk of these 3 characters) happens after the big fire, after the destruction of KL. Apparently he says that he already said that Arya was inside when KL went up in flames, but that she manages to get out because we know Arya is in fact present at Tyrion’s trial. So after KL goes up in flames, we have Jon Snow alive and kicking. They say Davos is leading the trial because Davos has been a witness, together with Jon Snow (King of the 7K or Governor – so his exact title is unconfirmed at this point) of what happened in KL – which is destroyed and is full of carbonized bodies. Javi had a previous information from Belfast that there was a scene with more than 600 extras and they were are yelling and screaming “Open the gates”, which he thinks means that the gates of KL are closed and the people can’t get out when the flames are engulfing KL so this means the flames will finally destroy KL and kill a big part of the population (maybe some manage to get out).
But why did these people die? Who is responsible for all these deaths? Tyrion Lannister. Friki says this is very possible because then we have another scene. Javi goes on to say that scene where Jon, Davos and Tyrion walking together, the camera focuses on Tyrion’s face and his reaction and his face is saying “what have I done?”. Again, the carbonated cadavers in KL is 100% confirmed info.
Why is Tyrion on trial for treason? They say there will be many factors, but one of those very important reasons, is that because of Tyrion hundreds, thousands of innocents have died. Again, Tyrion has a motive for it, he did it so that the people wouldn’t turn into others [again, this was a theory, but it still stands that Tyrion believes he is doing it for the right reasons]. Friki adds that Javi’s sources told Javi that in that scene there are no Others (aka no wights, no WW, nothing). In fact, they told him there are no Others inside the walls surrounding the Red Keep, and generally speaking in KL [I think here they were going off of BSB’s leak of the NK arriving in KL, hence the speculation about Tyrion’s reason of not opening the gates, despite the fact that they both knew here there were no wights or WW in KL!]. So Friki says that to him this means that the invasion of the dead has been contained before the NK arrives in KL and gets millions to add to his Army. Because we know the wights are flammable so it seems reasonable to think that a good solution is to let them go up in flames.
Friki says that this leaves a lot of room for speculation and adds “but then where is the NK killed?”, because he has to be slayed before the destruction of KL happens. Javi said he has no info on this, and he can only theorise. Friki adds “it seems that the dance of the dragons leak may be true, hence why the prequel of it wasn’t picked up…” also Javi adds that a very reliable source said that the rumours of Valyria prequel were all lies. So Friki thought that the NK’s death had not only to happen before the destruction of KL but it also had to do with the dance of dragons [this bit is speculation only!].
[LMAO listen to this] Friki already says it would be such a big mistake to not have a one on one sword fight between Jon Snow and the NK with a new blade made by Gendry with Sam’s and Bran’s help… because we had so many intense stares between Jon and the NK so there’s a build up for something …. ahh Friki, who knew we were in for this much disappointment… then he also theorised how the physical place for this fight is post the dance of dragons; so maybe the KL fire is happening at the same time, which would explain Tyrion’s on the moment decision to not open the gates; and we also were told in S7 y Tyrion himself the population of KL aka 1 million.
Javi thinks that the battle will finish in episode 5 aka second to last, and the 6th will be the aftermath. Whereas friki thinks that we will have the big fight in episode 6 so that we get the climax at the end. But Javi thinks ep 5 because of Sapochnik and ep 6 is aftermath because it’s directed by D&D. Friki also believes in a cliff-hanger (including maybe to make people think Arya is going to die) in the 5th and the resolution in the 6th and we see Arya escaping from the fire (which he is sure she does since she was at the trial).
Friki then brings up all the aerial shots they filmed and they have to use at some point. He confirms the info he has that there were aerial shots in Iceland [boom 8x01 😉 and 8x04 seeing from the trailer]. They also have info that they also have shots of the Castillo de Almodóvar del Río, which was used as the Castle of Highgarden – which doesn’t make much sense since we have no more Tyrells. So what are they doing with Highgarden? Giving it to Samwell Tarly maybe (Javi thinks so)? Friki says that apparently there are scenes that were filmed in a particular form. It made Friki think of a raven flying over the various castles in Westeros. Javi thinks it would make sense and it reminds him of the end scene of The Wire, which has a review of all the characters and locations in Baltimore. Maybe we’ll get a similar thing with Westeros and the people in GoT, to see how life goes on.
Friki addresses the people who think that Tyrion’s treason doesn’t make sense. But both him and Javi think Tyrion has always been a grey character, that has light but also darkness in him. Javi interjects how he doesn’t like Tyrion because the fandom seems to have raised him up as a saint when he has done very bad things, like killing Shae and his dad, and in the books. He also thinks that Tyrion’s face when boatsex was happening was there for a reason. Friki brings up the behind the scenes with Peter when he is asked about that scene and he says it’s because if these two, jonerys, are together it can complicate things. Then a year-ish later he was asked the same thing and he changed his answer, and suddenly brings up that Tyrion may have feelings for Dany. And Friki also brings up the interview with Jimmy Kimmel who says “you’re one of the good guys”, to which Peter replies “maybe”. Maybe he is being a troll, but this is true. Then Friki brings up how the SFX supervisor jokes how he could tell the journalists in which episode Tyrion dies, but then he changes his tune and acts a bit dramatic about it. Then Peter in an interview before the Emmys talks about Tyrion’s fate and future, and says that he think’s it’s beautiful, even if it’s dramatic or not. So Peter kind of opens the door on the opportunity that Tyrion may end up badly.
And about the legend of unkillable characters, it only applies to the books, not the show, like Arya being the favourite’s character of George’s wife and she said he could kill anyone but Arya. This is book only. And there is no legend about Tyrion. Even if Tyrion is one of George’s favourites, but he said he most identifies with Sam.
Javi is the one to bring up people saying that the end of the series will be jonerys ruling and it would be beautiful and romantic; but if Tyrion dies, it dampens that, makes it bittersweet; or if they are rulers over a destroyed KL because of a big fire, they’re rules of ashes, so it doesn’t seem as beautiful or as romantic of an ending to him. Friki adds that if all these people die in such a traumatic way, how and why would KL be the capital of the 7K?
Javi confirmed that WF will be destroyed and rebuilt. Friki add that another leak he has says that WF is being rebuilt as Tyrion’s trial is happening.
Will KL continue to be the capital? Good question. We should also keep in mind that all the people who are present at Tyrion’s trial it all looks like a Council of the Realm, including the GC. It almost looks like it’s the people who are judging Tyrion. Friki says that he has 2 versions about the person dressed in gold : first version says the person is dressed in GOLD ARMOUR and the second person says in GOLDEN CLOTHES. He sent this second person a picture of Oberyn Martell dressed in gold and he asked “something like this?” and they replied “yes something similar” (Javi doesn’t have this info). But Friki says the contradiction between the two sources is something to keep in mind. Toby Osmond has been identified as a royal, and he is dressed in gold – so this person would perfectly fit in the role these two sources told Friki about. But who is left from Dorne? Javi says that D&D can simply invent a hidden Sand of Oberyn’s or whatever else person to represent Dorne since they fucked it up big time. Javi even says he could be an Yronwood, second most important house after Martell [in 8x04 we got confrimation that Dorne in back in the game and on Dany’s side].
And then the last unknown character is an old dude dressed in green, who has between 50-60 years, with short beard. The theory circulating on the web is that this one is Howland Reed, who would be there to potentially legitimate Jon Snow’s parentage since he was there with Ned (remember we had the Tower of Joy scene). Javi really likes this possibility of it being Howland Reed. Friki says that if D&D don’t take this opportunity to give Howland a big role in the Council of the Realm, they would be fools. So even if this info hasn’t been confirmed, he thinks it would fit well in the grand scheme of things.
Javi is convinced that everything that has to do with Tyrion’s trial comes from GRRM since it will also happen in the books. And GRRM when he was saying some stuff isn’t the same in the two, it was quite close to the release of Fire and Blood, in which we were told the Wall is a magical barrier in both ways, aka the dragons can’t cross it so the wight hunt is invalidated, that’s all D&D.
There was a detail in the Dragon Pit – there is some snow there, but like barely, as if the snow has almost entirely melted down. So how come? If there is almost no snow in the Dragon Pit when we have seen it snowing in KL, it also seems that when the NK dies, the winter goes away. So maybe we’ll get to see it green beyond the Wall. GRRM has always said that the reason for the long winters is magic. So it is logical if the Others disappear, so will the winters.
The second video is this one from February 15th 2019.
Not gonna add much from this one because they rediscuss stuff from the one above. But the important points in this video were:
They bring up the people who say Javi’s and Friki’s sources are not reliable so their spoilers aren’t real. And Javi brings up that some people think that the Dragon Pit scene and Tyrion’s trial is fake. So they basically filmed for an entire week just false scene so that they would get leaked? They say again: what was filmed in Sevilla will for sure happen.
Friki was the very first to get the info; he asked Javi and Javi asked around and his sources (2 different sources) then came through and confirmed what Friki had. Friki has 100% faith in it.
They confirm that the people yell “Open the gates” ; and Watchers on the Wall confirmed that KL burns, and we see buildings’ roofs burning.
Friki and Javi say that WF falls for sure;
They say they have various sources saying different stuff about Jaime: dying in 8x03 or 8x04 or 8x05.
If I have time, I may rewatch some other old videos and add to this post.
#got leaks#got spoilers#frikidoctor#friki leaks#voilà now y'all know#the first video is most relevant imo

Debunk, Dissect and Destress
OKay rather than dealing with all the anons in my inbox - because although they all say different things the essence is the same - I’m going to make this post, and maybe some others, to hopefully answers your worries.
Generally speaking I’m not a fan of comparing couples, or potential couples, but sadly needs must from your asks so I’m going to warn right now there is “dissing” of the C@rzekiel pairing, there are parallels to R@chonne pairing, so run away now if that’s not your thing.
The main thing people seem to be worried about is Crzekiel happening is more likely than caryl, the alleged parallels in Bury Me Here, and the last scene of the ep, so I’m going to try and allay these fears in this post.
The rest is under a cut
ANd let’s start here:
1) Read ALL Melissa’s interviews post-episode:
http://comicbook.com/thewalkingdead/2017/03/12/does-carol-love-daryl-/
https://www.yahoo.com/tv/the-walking-dead-postmortem-melissa-mcbride-on-carols-nightmares-and-daryls-sacrifice-071533000.html
http://www.amc.com/shows/the-walking-dead/talk/2017/03/spoilers-the-walking-dead-qa-melissa-mcbride-carol
Now notice a few things: 1) How often she is asked and talks about Daryl 2) how little she talks about Ezekiel (especially romantically) 3) go back and do 1 again, it’s worth it. :D
Also take notice of this quote from the Yahoo interview, about the “One Way” sign:
“ That was cute. Yeah, it kind of is. As it turns out, I don’t know how much I can get into that, but it just turns… we can read all kinds of stuff into that. And the arrow, I do believe, was pointing backwards. “
Interesting huh that she can’t talk about that and it points AWAY from Kingdom? (I’m not saying I told you so, but I told you so LOl)
Notice also ALL the post-Bury Me Here there were no questions about Carol and Ezekiel romance to Scott Gimple - the man who is both the showrunner and wrote this episode - not a SINGLE ONE. Not even on Talking Dead.
And in all the reviews I’ve read (over a dozen) only 1 mentions anything about Carol and Ezekiel romantically.
It wasn’t a thing, no matter how much part of the fandom wanted it to be a thing.
2) Let’s talk about the “parallels”. Now I’m saying straight up I haven’t done extensive research on what the OTHER fans are saying, I’ve seen 3 posts about the parallels, and I’m going off them. If there’s other parallels being claimed, feel free to let me know what I’ve missed.
a) Clear parallels - “Focus on the unhinged guy meanwhile, there's something else brewing with new relationships" “Gimple wrote Clear, which he admitted it was the first time he wrote it with Richonne in mind and it was a Morgan featured episode. And he wrote tonight's episode which featured Morgan. In both episodes it never started off as anything glaring about a romantic setup, but they both ended with glaring possibilities.”
I mean, Lord, do I have to explain why this is NOT a parallel? Why there is nothing parallel in these episodes beyond Gimple writing them and the focus on Morgan’s mental health? I mean they are literally saying, the only connection is there two people interacting in that ep and they later became a couple. That’s it.
On the same basis, we could claim No Sanctuary was a parallel to Clear - both written by Scott Gimple, both important Morgan episodes, and we have the Carol and Daryl interaction to “parallel” RIchonne.
b) Other R*chonne parallels -
“Nabila’s words to Ezekiel were incredibly reminiscent of Hershel’s words to Rick right before Michonne showed up to the gates.”
Yes, they are similar speeches and the parallel is that they are made to leaders who are afraid to act, who want to hide amongst their crops and concentrate on living peacefully behind a fence. And by the end of the episode they have both learned they can’t live like that anymore, that death and destruction will find it’s way inside (the flu, and the weevils) and destroy what you’ve worked hard to grow, but that it can be rebuilt.
That’s the parallel, not that shortly after this scene Rick talks to Michonne who he later hooks up with.
“Carol tells Ezekiel they must fight, and Ezekiel says he already knows. Just like Michonne and Rick in the jail cell in “Hearts Still Beating”
Again, yes, this is a parallel between the 2 leaders again - both of them having refused to stand up and go to war, but have this moment of clarity after the death of two of their people (Spencer/Olivia, RIchard/Benjamin). It’s not a romance parallel, it’s a parallel about Rick and Ezekiel AGAIN.
“Ezekiel tells Carol they’re going to fight, but “not today”, which is like when Michonne told Rick they could wait a few more days.”
Well it’s a stretch to be fair, because the meaning of the 2 exchanges is very different. Ezekiel is acknowledging that rebuilding focusing on Henry and the garden is as important as preparing for war. Whereas Michonne is reassuring Rick they have time to get the weapons they need to get the Junkyard people on side. Different words (”In a few more days”. ), different meaning but a similar phrase about time. Again if it’s any parallel, it’s the two leaders.
Note NONE of the alleged parallels have been about the relationship between RIck and Michonne.
MEANWHILE, we have DIRECT parallels to Sherry and Dwight and their MARRIED relationship with each other, and speaking of Rick and Michonne, we have “I can’t lose you” - a phrase which has NOT been uttered by anyone except those in a romantic relationship.... soooo
3) The finale scene in the garden
I’ve kind of answered this above with the first parallel, but this isn’t a scene about Carol planting roots. This is a scene about 2 characters (technically 3, as Morgan is the same and we see him immediately afterwards) who has come to a realisation - that sometimes sacrifices are needed in order to achieve peace.
This is all about Carol and Ezekiel arriving at the same place in terms of knowing what must be done, but knowing they can survive it. They are doing ti for Henry and others like him. Planting new crops to replace the ones they lost, preparing new growth for the time after the war when they will all needs to see HOPE.
That is what that scene is about HOPE for a future for Henry, that is free from the Saviours.
When you look at it that way, and look at it in context with all the info above, you can see it’s not a big romantic foreshadowing moment.
And here’s a bonus 4) relating to that:
Cast your mind upward to that comment by Melissa about the One Way Sign. In fact let’s have it twice, it’s so good:
“That was cute. Yeah, it kind of is. As it turns out, I don’t know how much I can get into that, but it just turns… we can read all kinds of stuff into that. And the arrow, I do believe, was pointing backwards.”
Now think about that. Think about the fact it’s pointing away from the Kingdom. And think about the fact Melissa is saying she can’t talk about, therefor it has significance. And know this,. when the crzekiel shippers believed the sign was pointing TO the Kingdom, they all said for sure it was showing where Carol’s home was going to be, where she’d settle, where her future lies.
When they found it it’s pointing AWAY from the Kingdom, suddenly it doesn’t mean any of that. now, to me, that says it all about these “signs” for crzekiel.

Erik Malpica Flores Erik Malpica Flores recommends: SUITS Recap: We’re A Community |
SUITS’ “Sour Grapes” saw members of opposing factions in the Next Name Partner Battle of 2018 team up on two separate cases. For Harvey Specter and Samantha Wheeler, the task at hand involved standing up for the firm’s slimy landlord and newest client, David Fox. Alex Williams assisted Robert Zane with a personal business matter; and that left Louis Litt’s drama of the week to be purely personal.
We found Robert Zane. Insert Firm Name Here’s current managing partner has been absent from recent SUITS episodes, but he finally made a reappearance in “Sour Grapes.” For Robert, the episode title was about as literal as it could get: Because he received his barrels too late, the product at his winery had gone sour — and his business was tanking.
So, when the boss called Donna to say that he needed Alex Williams’ help, proving he’d taken the COO’s commentary about “fostering harmony” to heart, “Red” purchased Alex everything he would need and sent him on his way.
Zane was convinced that he wasn’t treated fairly because of his race, especially because of the all-too-familiar looks he’d received at the bank and elsewhere in the community. In a heated meeting, Mr. Newton, who had sold Zane the barrels, actually admitted to some sabotage — but because Robert was a rich outsider, not because of the color of his skin. After a falling-out with Alex and some good advice from Donna, Robert wound up taking the man at his word and working things out. He even decided to give something back by funding a community tasting room.
So, SUITS really did the whole, “it’s not racism” thing here. That’s unsettling, given that people of color don’t normally cry racism for no reason, but that’s none of my business. The storyline included a moment in which Robert stated that, if some outsider came into his own community, he’s not sure he would have acted any differently because where he grew up, the people were “tight and close, mistrusting of outsiders.”
That would all be fine and good if we weren’t ignoring the reasons for that mistrust. Between that and the supposed problem with Robert’s “Wall Street money,” the story gave shades of the “economic insecurity” argument that’s been debunked time and again in America…And that’s really not a good look.
Surprise! She’s not pregnant! Louis Litt might have actually gotten some work done in SUITS 8×07 if Sheila hadn’t called him on his “sex phone” to inform him that she was pregnant and ask him to promise to keep her pregnancy a secret. Instead, said phone call did happen; and Louis…didn’t do such a great job of keeping secrets. Gretchen was the first to know, thanks to Louis’ in-office happy dance, but the party didn’t last long.
When Louis took Sheila to a fancy dinner to celebrate [insert euphemism for becoming pregnant here], things took a predictably bad turn for SUITS’ least healthy relationship (and that’s including the non-relationship mess that a certain other pairing has trapped themselves in for 13 years, by the way). This week’s order from Sheila was that, not only would Lous not be able to raise his child Jewish, but he should also just, like, completely drop the conversation: “This is supposed to be a celebration. Can’t you just let it go?” Yeah, Louis. Let something that’s clearly a major part of your identity go. Because why have a discussion, when you can take Sheila’s orders and leave it at that?
This sent Louis in search of persons two and three to learn of his “secret” news: Esther (his sister) and everyone’s favorite therapist, Dr. Lipschitz. Esther was surprised to hear that Louis wouldn’t raise his child Jewish and had always just assumed that any future Litts would attend Camp Bracha, just like their daddy and aunt had. But when she heard that the decision was Sheila’s, not Louis’, Esther was a little bit less accepting — especially when Louis mentioned that the couple hadn’t even had a real conversation about it. The situation reminded Esther of her failed marriage, which fell apart from a lack of communication, not anything that her husband had done to her.
So, Louis finally stood up to Sheila — for once — only to have her shoot him down with passive aggressive nonsense about he and Esther dragging her for being a shiksa. Evidently, Sheila’s decision not to raise her kid one way or the other had to do with not wanting to further alienate her Catholic parents, who already had a problem with her for not being particularly into their religion. But when Louis tried to explain to her that his wishes weren’t about what was important to his parents but, rather, what was important to him, Sheila made it all about her.
“What about what’s important to me?” Literally your entire relationship, Sheila. Question answered.
Unlike with Harvey, Louis chose to solve his relationship problems with Sheila in a solo session with Dr. Lipschitz. Louis wanted his doctor to wave a magic wand and get Sheila to let him raise their child the way he wanted to; but it wasn’t that simple. The therapist explained his own family story to Louis, the all-too-familiar one of a family that could have had a better chance of surviving in nazi Germany if they’d denied their identity — but didn’t.
Lipschitz’s advice highlighted the hard truth about this relationship: “I’m saying if you can’t be on the same page about how to raise your children, maybe you should discuss not having them.” But when Louis told Dr. Lipschitz that it was too late, the advice was softened to, “it’s more important that you make a decision together than what that decision is.” And then, SUITS’ greatest hero congratulated Louis with a “mazel tov” and a hug.
Louis went home, hoping to (finally) have a real discussion with Sheila, but she’d already changed her mind because Esther had called to welcome her to the family. So, as nice as it was that Sheila was willing to compromise — exposing the baby to both traditions — and even surprised Louis with his mother’s kugel, I’m still calling this one a fail. This couple should have had real discussions before thinking they were pregnant, and the more Sheila continues to control every aspect of the relationship, the more it, quite frankly, needs to end.
Unfortunately, the end is not in sight. Louis tried proposing to Sheila again, but she wanted to be the one to pop the question this time. Yay. They’re engaged…Ummm, and they’re not actually pregnant, so now they get to have (one-sided, probably) conversations like (terrible) adults before any Litt heirs actually come into being. Woo!
Harvey, meet your new client: David Fox. Remember when Donna made a deal with the devil and promised him that Harvey would be his lawyer for a year, for free? Well, Harvey doesn’t because he was never told.
Insert the world’s worst “not-actually-married spouses screaming at one another” fight when Harvey was approached by David Fox with the news that not only was he in the dark about the deal, but it was also time to deliver.
When Harvey confronted Donna about not keeping him informed, she said she’d added Fox to his client roster — I guess Donna’s still holding Harvey’s hand like a secretary, even now that she’s COO? — something she knew Harvey never checked. After admitting that she just wanted to see the look on Harvey’s face when he realized he didn’t have a choice in representing Fox, Donna also told him to “suck it up, take one for the team, and get this thing done.”
…and the whole dynamic was of the head-scratching, “no, really, what is happening with these two???” variety. There are some bottled-up emotions out here, being expressed through work spats, that do not actually appear to be about work. It’s confusing and frustrating…and exhausting.
When Harvey grudgingly went to see his client, he learned that David Fox wanted to by a building from his rival, John Billups, who was refusing to so much as put the building up for sale. Harvey tried (and failed) to make the purchase with a series of lies, but Billups saw right through him. Billups knew that Harvey was lying for David Fox, and he stayed firm in refusing to sell.
While this was happening, Donna was approaching Samantha about being Harvey’s backup on the case. The COO’s philosophy was that, sooner or later, the (snooze-worthy) competition between Sam and Alex would finally come to a resolution; and “no matter who [becomes name partner] first, the other team isn’t going to be happy about it. But the more we’re bonded as a family before that happens, the more likely we’ll stay a family after it does.” During the conversation, Donna also admitted to her and Harvey’s mutual hatred for Fox, which Sam took into account when doing her (as always) solo research.
So, when the meeting between Fox and Billups went downhill, complete the reveal that his client had been paying one of Billups’ clients tens of thousands of dollars per month so Billups couldn’t kick him out, Harvey snapped. He told Samantha he didn’t “give a shit about Donna’s deal” and refused to represent a client who lied to his face, then went back to the firm to have yet another huge argument with Donna.
And it got ugly, fast. Harvey went so far as to say that he was the reason Donna was even in her position, to which she had to remind him — for the millionth time — that she’d earned it. With one last plea to Harvey to keep her reputation in tact, Donna turned to her new best buddy, Samantha — whom Harvey was already jealous of because she kept secrets from him but seemed to share everything with Donna — to ask her to please keep working the case. With much less of a fight than Harvey had put up, Sam agreed.
Darvey found dead in New York. Murder suspect: Damantha.
Harvey finally came to his senses and went back to see David Fox, giving him one last chance to come clean. As it turned out, Fox was actually doing something good with all of those payments — helping out the guy who could have ruined his life for some teenaged theft but instead taught him the value of hard work. Samantha and Harvey were able to put their respective knowledge together and come to an outcome that, while not great for Fox’s ruthless image, was exactly what he needed for his mentor.
With the case finished, Harvey went in search of Donna and Sam, who happened to be together and chatting about what a terrible gift-giver he was. The ladies joked about Harvey’s terrible apology-giving style and barely addressed him while he stood there, dumbfounded, as SUITS’ newest power relationship flourished.
Sorry, Harvey. You snooze, you lose.
…but whatever that weird reaction from Donna was after Harvey tried to joke back at her, leads me to question, for at least the billionth time, what exactly is happening in the SUITS universe. Will we ever know, or is the series just going to continue to drop hints and let viewers interpret things as they will?
News & Notes.
Welcome back, Amy Acker! And please come again! Acker is amazing in everything she does, and the face that “Esther” made when she heard that Louis wasn’t going to raise his child Jewish was so, so relatable.
“I’m taking my side.” Finally, Donna. Go off.
“No, Harvey, I’m in my position because I [f-ing] earned it!!” Again, I say, “GO. OFF.” We love one incensed woman.
I never want the phrase, “sex phone” used on SUITS, ever again. Thank you.
“I’m a big, bad motherfucker, and I’m here to drink your goddamn milkshake.” Here for it, Mr. Zane. HERE. FOR. IT.
Isn’t it wonderful that Louis never once thinks about the fact that he might not have a son? What time period is this?
“I may have to represent you, but I don’t have to tolerate your mouth.” Harvey Specter, y’all.
Pretty sure Louis called his sister’s ex an asshole, meaning the Litts have a type.
“Being Jewish isn’t just a religion to me. It’s in my blood.” This is the most real SUITS quote of the week.
Louis’ story in “Sour Grapes” really hit home for Yours Truly, given that I am the product of a mixed marriage, who didn’t even wind up practicing the religion that her parents chose for her. Not to mention, I work in an environment where I see the blending of Jewish and non-Jewish families all the time. There were some great moments highlighting that struggle, and I particularly loved when Lipschitz got personal…But, ultimately, as most things do when Sheila is involved, the story fell flat. So much for great potential.
“I understand as much as anyone the value of maintaining a Jewish identity.” Same, Doc. Same.
“I didn’t know you could read.” Ok. It’s official. Sam can stay.
“Ok. Let me put this in words that you’ll understand: I have integrity. You let him go, you’re making me a liar.” Canon: Harvey can’t read, needs to be spoken to in words he’ll understand only. One of those words, however, is not “sorry.”
“There’s no way if I’m white we’re in this situation right now.” There’s your narrative, SUITS…not the way that Zane’s story actually unfolded.
Why do we never get enough Gretchen? A quick laugh about Louis not being “the only middle-aged white man who wants to be Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman,” followed by that beautiful “you don’t need to be strong for me” moment, is just teasing SUITS viewers by dangling good food in front of their faces before starving them to death.
Loved sweet and reassuring Louis, hated that it was wasted on a toxic relationship.
“This was Donna’s idea?” “Yes. It was.” “Then, why don’t you sit down, and I’ll bring you up to speed?” Harvey can’t do anything without making sure Donna is behind him. Ok then.
Harvey was a pretty good gift giver that for that one anniversary…too bad Donna was in a relationship with someone else, though. Meanwhile, Robert Zane’s poor gift-receiving is an interesting nugget to try to look at in terms of characterization. Jury’s still out on what it all means.
“Wouldn’t you rather have people know you’re loyal than have them think you’re an asshole?” The Harvey we met in SUITS’ first season is in shock.
Is anyone else loving “The Adventures of Pops and Red” this season, or is that just me?
No, really. What is happening with Donna and Harvey in SUITS season 8? It’s…something. Donna’s certainly made Harvey do things he didn’t want to before, and they’ve certainly argued plenty, but the level of anger just didn’t fit the perceived slight with this whole Fox thing.
The next all-new episode of SUITS airs on Wednesday, September 5 at 9/8c on USA.
