finally getting my hands on that 2018 RSC production of Troilus and Cressida where they're in like a mad-max post-apocalypse and Achilles and Patroclus are lovers is unleashing my worst and most annoying tendencies, i fear

#the change of setting doesn't like. do much tbh. and the performances are kind of hit or miss #loved adjoa andoh as ulysses tho #i'm very tempted to make an edit of james cooney as patroclus except i don't know how to make edits #watch this space #i'm obsessed w his little crop top #and the dressing gown he wears in that one scene #i honestly think the choice to have [redacted] [redacted] him in the end underscores the themes of the play really well #except it's staged in the most random mmm whatcha say way ever #the interplay between comedy and tragedy... much like the play itself... much to think about...#me
