can you imagine like,,, a seijoh camping trip,,,

you can’t tell me iwaizumi wouldn’t be the highschool student equivalent of bear grylls. dude would be climbing trees and starting fires without matches and chopping wood and cooking the food without breaking a SWEAT. the man was built for the outdoors.

kyoutani is his right hand man, angrily trying out-chop him with the wood and iwa doesn’t even realize he’s made it into a competition.

yahaba is repulsed by the outdoors but makes himself useful. he probably sets up the tents and helps clean the pots and pans after kyoutani and iwaizumi dent use them.

watari is afraid of bugs.

kindaichi is also afraid of bugs but warms up to them after iwa tells him he used to love catching bugs.

kunimi is a shocking kind of insect attractant. by the end of the trip he’s covered in bites from head to toe.

matsukawa and hanamaki do absolutely nothing. like somehow they literally get away with doing nothing. they escape to go swimming and fishing whenever iwaizumi tries to recruit them to help with something (they always come back right on time for food though).

and oikawa… well oikawa didn’t want to go in the first place. he hates camping, always has. it’s gross and disgusting and he can’t shower properly and what about his skincare, iwa-chan, how is he supposed to connect with the team while breaking out?! and yet it all comes to a head when the team goes for a swim in the river and he’s complaining and whining because the river water is slimy and iwa pulls him aside with his eyebrows all scrunched together and asks “tooru, (oh my god he never calls him tooru) if you want to go home, i’ll seriously take you home right now,” and oikawa remembers how much iwaizumi (and the rest of the team but they don’t matter) has been enjoying this trip… and he sighs and waves it away because “don’t be ridiculous iwa-chan, i know you love camping.”

(and iwaizumi just stands there as oikawa walks away, because oikawa doesn’t do things he hates for anyone)

haikyuu!! characters and their questionable habits (no i will not go easy on the slander): an extensive(?) list that i will update eventually. 

karasuno

daichi: is the person who always leaves one cookie in the box so he doesnt have to throw it away

noya: picks his nose very VERY often; sometimes forgets how to tie shoelaces

kinoshita: puts 5 droplets of sanitizer on his hand (as opposed to just putting ONE), it all always drips on the floor

ennoshita: keeps a bullet journal and can’t shut up about it

tanaka: forgets that he buzzed his hair off so sometimes he tries to curl his hair between his fingers while trying to focus. it has the opposite effect each time as he is baldie baddie

suga: unironically says gatekeep gaslight girlboss

kageyama: tries to copy suga but instead says girlboss gaskeep gatelight almost every time and doesn’t catch his mistake

narita: forgets to go the store to buy deodorant so he smells really bad for about a week

asahi: frequently stuggles distinguishing trash from recyclable waste, gets really frustrated when google doesnt help his situation

yamaguchi (THEY/THEM PLEASE i am begging): does their eyeliner before school,, not questionable i just love them

tsukishima: bites his nails (:I me too)

hinata: never knows what the date is

nekoma

kai: maintains a quote book, most of it is kuroo’s loud ass dad jokes

kenma: always carries his washi tape everywhere to tape it on kuroo’s forehead

fukunaga: beatboxes whenever something sad is happening

kuroo: complimentary habit to fukunaga’s, instead of beatboxing he just knows the PERFECT lyrics to every situation that happens. his relationship advice is always let it go-

lev: chews with his mouth open

yaku: has a body pillow of danny devito. sleeps with the pillow on flights

yamamoto: always has crumbs on his bed

shiratorizawa

tendou: definitely learned another language so he could confuse the entire team by spending entire practices speaking in the language his teammates do not understand

goshiki: runs an ed sheeran hate club (we support it fully !!! pop off)

shirabu: is in a sonic phrase and the only thing he says are quotes by eggman in the fandub

ushijima: has had the same calculator since 4th grade and doesnt know how to use any other calculator

semi: calls himself a semicircle

leon: says “you mean like left or right?? directions?” whenever someone asks him for his preferred pronouns

seijoh

mattsun: runs a thirst tiktok (we support this too !!!!! go off legend)

makki: doesnt brush his hair. ever

kindaichi: doesnt brush his teeth before a dentist appointment

oikawa: set all the tts voices in his phone to irish speakers

iwaizumi: has horrible handwriting. hes really smart so everyone wants his notes for everything but no one can read shit

kunimi: plays dragon city for 2+ hours every day each and knows all the dragon breeding patterns by heart

mad dog: barks at the tv when his favorite soccer team loses posession of the ball

watari: draws a blue arrow on his forehead and runs around the gym “summoning air”. does this about every two weeks

yahaba: calls himself an alpha male

inarizaki

suna: reads exclusively ya romances because he enjoys getting mad at the stupid straight main characters and throwing the book on his bed

atsumu: pees in the shower

osamu: listens to imagine dragons <3

aran: spells his passwords out loud when he’s entering them into literally ANY website

kita: has a birthday list in his notes app ready to whip out whenever someone asks about upcoming birthdays. one problem though. he forgot to put the names of everyone in it so it gets slightly difficult to navigate

ren: says “feel good” after anyone laughs (go stream feel good inc.)

akaashi: folds the corners of book pages as bookmarks

bokuto: loses his keys every 3 days. they are always in his bag.

koganegawa: frequently forgets to bring kneepads to practice

sakusa: doesnt know how to work a microwave, always burns the popcorn

Aoba Johsai

These boys absolutely ADORE YOU

They all respect you and to be honest, they may or may not all have the smallest crush on you and yes, this goes to Kyoutani as well

Whenever you go and defend them, from behind, they’ll have heart eyes for you and you never notice because they hide it, but they’re your boys, you’re not letting anyone slander them

An example of this was when someone from the basketball team had said “Yeah, but Seijoh never made it to Nationals” behind their backs and all of their moods just dropped to the center of the earth

However, you come out of nowhere and with a snarky smile, merely say, “And at least they made it to semi finals. Until you make it to semi finals, shut up and go shoot a three pointer or something.”

The team’s hearts? G o n e

You hang around the third years during school and it doesn’t matter if you’re taller or shorter than them all, they’ll stay behind you if you’re attacking someone for attacking them

Plus it’s fun to see you in action and they just enjoy being around you because you can go from chaotic to dead serious

Oikawa sometimes flirts with you and you flirt back because you know it’ll get him flustered

Matsukawa, Hanamaki and you are the trio that everyone is scared of because who knows what crimes you’ll commit when you’re older? (None.)

Iwaizumi and you have a bond that’s different from everyone else’s and he just loves being around you (yes, he also has a tiny crush on you)

The second years all have a deep respect and fondness for you

Out of all of them, the most obvious one with a little crush on you is Yahaba

He’ll try to fight for himself, but you just come out of nowhere to protect him and he likes that a lot better

Watari is just so happy when you’re around, he’s like a little ball of sunshine and when you protect him, he’ll stand behind you whilst looking at the person saying whatever they were saying

Kyoutani, unlike the rest of the team except for Iwaizumi, has a deep respect for you and will go out of his way to help you with something (one time you were carrying a bench on your own and he tried to help, even after you assured him you were fine, that it was light anyways)

Now the first years, specifically Kindaichi, has literally thought about you being an angel from heaven until you’re slandering the people defaming them

Kunimi is very quiet and impatient most of the team and indifferent to his team, but with your comebacks, you are the only person that has ever made him laugh in public

The team has never loved you more for that

Kindaichi loves being around you, he’s like a duckling in that sense and will hide behind you if he’s frowned upon because he loves that sense of protection you have

In short, Aoba Johsai loves you and not just because you’re their manager, but because you’re just an amazing person overall

Inarizaki

Automatically, right off the bat, I can tell you that the second you’re able to calm the twins down, the whole team has fallen head over heels for you

And as much as you can be strict with the team, you’re also the person they like to go to for anything; in fact, they count on you a lot

As their manager, you oblige instantaneously to any of their dumb pranks on each other and just being there for them

But the thing is while you may put up a calm front, the second they get attacked verbally, you are right there in two seconds with your arms crossed and ready to start a fight if you have to

“I don’t know how they were defeated, it was just Karasuno.”

“Yeah, well, maybe they’re not that good; after all, it’s just the twins that help out and they have a bunch of fangirls”

The rest of the team was bristling and you just said, “Unless you’re actually known around the school because you’re on the team, I don’t think you should talk, you’re not even a regular on your own team, so shut it.”

They never said anything about the boys’ team again and the rest of the team had heart eyes, including Kita, who no one really expected to feel like that

The third years are the ones you hang around most and you’re always up to something (not pranks, that’s reserved for the second years 90% of the time)

A lot of people think you, Omimi and Kita don’t get along that well but they’re dead wrong; both of them go to you and literally ask you if you want to get food afterschool and all in all, they both appreciate you as a person and as their manager

Now Aran and Akagi on the other hand, you three are a set, do not separate. Aran may seem like someone calm but with you two, he’s someone else and it’s a good thing, he loves that you bring out this side of him. Akagi loves you so much, he sometimes hides behind you when someone’s saying something mean about him because he feels protected because of you

The second years, oh boy, there’s a ton of second years on the team but the main group are the twins and Suna, but more on that later

Ginjima, Riseki, even though he’s a first year, and Kosaku are the main ones that come to you for advice and you give them solid advice

Plus you’re the one always defending them whenever someone says that they’re nothing to the team (one time they had to drag you away before you started a fight) so they’re head over heels in love with you

Now the twins and Suna and you are another complete set but Suna’s the one that’s hiding behind you a lot when they start arguing and you’re always the one to separate them

You four are the friend group that would sleepover at each other’s houses even if they don’t agree, but give in; you’re also the kind of people mercilessly teasing each other but also fighting if anyone says anything mean

Suna loves that you can control the twins and the twins ADORE the fact that you can drive their fangirls away with a single glare

The team loves you and they’re your boys, you’ll always be there to protect them
