i think the funniest new lore from Pinestar's Choice is that it makes jake basically the same age as Pinestar. Pinepaw meets Jake as a kitten when on a raid in twolegplace, which makes Jake less than a year younger than Pinestar, who was born 16+ years before the start of TPB. Jake's old as balls, he wouldve been 14-15 years old when Firestar and his siblings are born, which is about the same age as Mistystar was when she died. (14-15 years isn't unrealistically old for a real life cat, but in warriors we know that is well beyond the average) no wonder dude was an absent father, he probably keeled over and disintegrated before they were born
