touya is such a little pest, like you're standing in the kitchen, reading something off your phone and eating what's left of your chinese food and he just — comes up behind you. leans against your back, lets his hair tickle your cheek. and he just plucks a glob of rice right out of your carton !! a piece of chicken too !!!

and you just stare at him over your shoulder, mouth open at how ill-mannered he is, but he just chews, unbothered and staring back at you. you tell him the name of your book and stab his fingers when he goes to steal again, and he even snorts in your ear, like he relishes in being a pain in your ass.

"read it to me," he tells you, nudging you lightly when you continue to eat in silence. "c'mon, i dunno how. i never went to school."

and you know that's bullshit, but he looks so soft and relaxed, hair still mussed from his nap — and so you start from the top of the page, and let him put his grubby hands back in your food.
