10 artists you've liked in your life and 10 artists you would like to one day like?
hi im going off the assumption this is about music lmao because i have a long long list of artists i need to listen to/get into but i havent because im lazy and need to sit in a sensory deprivation chamber basically to process new music

7. harry styles. harry’s house isnt my favorite album (i like it tho) but im convinced fine line is the reason i made it out of my senior year of high school alive that album holds such a tender soft place in my little heart. i got lyrics tattooed on me thats how annoying i am btw stream sunflower vol 6
8. COIN - saw them at a music festival and basically fell in love w them

Answers from me, someone less than 50 pages into vol 3
1. I'd want to be known for something cool, but realistically I'd be known for being basically nocturnal/having the absolute worst sleeping habits
2. I don't even know any theories yet haha
3. SQH and SQQ arguing about who's the bigger slut
4. Saw a few episodes of it, the animation style grew on me but I didnt have time to keep up with it at the time so I just stopped
5. SQH and Mobei-jun are growing on me from spoilers alone which yea size difference ships and the cold grumpy guy being soft for one person are pretty common for me
6. Shang Qinghua. I have no words for how much I adore him, the second he showed up I was instantly like that one
7. Both the Liu siblings and Yue Qingyuan like c'mon they're interesting. And Gongyi Xiao! I was so sad when he died, hes such a sweet boy I loved him
8. Havent read any yet, have to finish the actual novel first
9. I really cant think of any beasts except for the dark moon rhino thingy (listen I dont remember most of the really long names I just kinda face palm at them because christ why is everything named so straightforward but in such a long winded way)
10. My brain does not want to grasp the concept of the difference between Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu likely because I dont know shit about shit about Shen Jiu other than he deserved getting carved into a human stick
11. God no! It's amusing for the story but I understand why SQQ hates it
12. Not have volume 2 drag so much outside of the last like 20 pages other than that I'm having too much fun with it
13. Bestie I could not tell you, maybe the throuple of SQQ, LBH, and LQG??? I've seen that one around and its ok
14. I don't have one yet haha
15. Uhhh, also dont technically have one yet, but there were a few really pretty ones I've seen
16. I dont think so, I dont think a drama would really do it justice
17. Coffin scene, most of the holy mausoleum arc tbh, maybe the details of the whole sun dew mushroom bodies thing (feels like it might be a little too fucking around with the dead), just so much about lbh preserving sqq's body (too fucking around with the dead and homoerotic to get past censorship in its whole) a lot of stuff with the sowers??? Past that idk
18. Fucking any of them besides the young palace mistress I cannot stand her
19. SQQ and SQH, and Tianlang-Jun and Zhuzhi-Lang
20. I don't like baby-faced Shang Qinghua
21. No, I like it a lot but idk tgcf had such a deep impact on me and mdzs just has me in a chokehold yet but who knows svsss might sneak up into one of those rankings yet
22. Might cosplay SQH if my friend cosplays SQQ yknow buddy up and all that
23. Early gen z, has a touch of millenial culture in him but definitely gen z, probably born around 1998, 1997 at earliest
24. I dont really like any of them tbh can I do a couple coin tosses?
25. About knee-deep in the rabbit hole, the red flags havent been too much of a deterrent
26. Well, I just met him and he is the most cool and collected character ever and I am utterly fascinated by him
27. They're both fucked but svsss has more depth than original flavor lbh probably had
28. Not deep enough in the rabbit hole for that yet
29. Reverse transmigration where lbh ends up in shen yuan's world, reminds me of the episodes of inuyasha where inuyasha would go to present day with kagome
30. Oh that's a tough one. I relate a lot to sqq's whole everything so maybe him?

10 tips for Buskers
Before we proceed with tips for buskers I want to announce everyone that our saturday appointment with Fat Jesus - Time To Bleed Robot, 40 songs for 40 saurdays - is coming back tomorrow!
I’m very happy about the reception of this project that was supposed to be addressed only to few individuals spread around the world... I checked the download section and numbers of downloads are growing every day.
Thank you!
For the ones that havent downloaded yet any Fat Jesus’, here is the free link containing the first ten songs:
Time to Bleed Robot Vol I
Now, to us. These tips come from my personal experiences and mistakes. I dont intend in any way make you believe that this is the truth, but thats for sure my truth.
Hope you find this post useful, weather you are a busker or not..
1
Keep a diary. a diary of what you played in the last set, a diary about who you met on the street, a diary of what happened. The street is things happening all the time and it might be healthy for your psiche to write down things. If not to hold grab of an overwhelming sequence of encounters, at least to have something to read one day, to remind you how crazy and lively and heroic this all was.
busking in Prishtina - Kosovo
2
A busker is an ancient figure that deserves respect. It takes guts to put yourself and your music at the mercy of anyone who happens to pass by. The fact that you are doing it, in my opinion is already worth esteem. Dont ever be bothered by the ones who dont listen, or that look you down. You are playing for yourself and for those who are into what you are playing. The others, let them walk away. That leads us to point 3.
3
The best way to enjoy busking is to do it in a friendly environment. If the shop owner, the tenant of the nearest building, or the buskers around you, complain about the volume of your amplifier, or about the music you are playing.. well you have to move somewhere else. It wont do anybody good to elbow your songs where they are not needed/wanted.
4
In my opinion the best pitch for playing is where is best for you. In few years I have seen many buskers playing in super loud spots, cranking their equipment over the noise in order to profit of the high number of people traffic. This is not my cup of tea.
It pays much more to be somewhere quiet with only few people going by. It is more satisfying for you to enjoy the sound of your show and it creates a better and more intimate link between you and the listeners. The city is yours, go and find a place where you feel good energy, where is quiet. It can be few metres from the loudest and crowded main street and it might be exactly what you were looking for.
In Istiklal Street, Istanbul
5
This is not an easy advice but it’s a true one: never close your eyes. I have been robbed few times, mostly in Europe. And it’s not funny to see your money going away after few hours of playing. If you are, like me, one of those who falls into a trance-like state while playing, you will learn how to reach that state and keep your eyes open. You will not be entirely awake, transported by the power of music somewhere else, but your open eyes will discourage cheap thiefs from your cash. It seems impossible at first but you will make it work eventually.
great singer, she. Prishtina, Kosovo
6
Before making your way to the busking experience, learn as many tunes as possible. So that you will be able to change your set as much as you can. I didnt do it enough and at a certain point of my journey, I was playing the same things over and over. If you have the chance, stop for a few weeks and renew your set. This will be good for you and for everybody around.
7
This is the most important advice: be friendly. Be nice to everyody. Especially to the ones that annoy you, drunkards asking for you to play wonder wall.. police officers and so on. Be good to the other buskers, be good to shop owners and anybody that is around you. Busking is an act of love and courage and it can work only under the condition that there is no spite or rancor in you heart. Let it go or be dragged.
Wroclaw, Poland
8
It’s difficult, if not impossible, to be an artist and to conform. But a dignified and proud way of presenting yourself will give you the chance to connect to a wider audience and to enrich someone else’s life with your music. Be yourself but also dont forget that light travels faster than music. It’s not by chance that Jimi Hendrix or Bowie would give as much importance to their music as to their dressing style. They are both means of beauty and you want to use them all to achieve a moment of awe into anybody who is passing by.
Again Wroclaw
9
You are on the street to present your music and to connect to your potential audience. One of the mistakes that I made in my years of busking is that I barely promoted my name, doing it only in the last few months of busking. I seldom used socials and I just cared of having a good time, selling few albums and make my day.
As beautiful as it is, it’s not as satsfying as keeping your fans updated on your projects. Inspiration is triggered by feedback. It’s a tricky game to be played with vanity but it’s not by blinding yourself to this game that you will overcome the trap of playing what people like the most. So, my advice is: don’t be shy to advertise your name with a piece of paper that link socials. Make people enter your journey, share your dream and your everyday life. If not for your career, this can inspire others to follow their own dreams.
Great guitar player, she. Sarajevo, Bosnia H.
10
My last advice is about magic. Have your own luck routine. Each busker has some. Mine was that I would tip myself 2euro before getting started. Some would have his coffee to go. Others would have other strange rituals. Choose yours and repeat it everytime before you start playing. It will make you company in every busking session and it will give you courage like an amulet. Never underestimate the power of magic.
Try bycicle busking! It’s healthy! Porto, Portugal.
That’s all for today. I hope that this post inspired you to walk your own artistic path with courage and joy.. See you next friday!

snuffysam (Super Galaxy Knights)
Just finished reading the entire archive, and I'm loving this comic! The gag-a-day stuff early on isn't really to my taste, but once the comic starts getting into the in-depth story stuff I was hooked. My favorite character by far is Soviet Sam. His character arc from a quiet former villain, constantly regretful of his actions 50 years prior, into a full-fledged hero, is just super uplifting to see.
RebelVampire
Ok, time for some question answering. What I like about the beginning is just kind of how it deceptively pulls you. It starts with this really simple concept of retired superheroes, but then just slowly and slowly brings in more plot until you're hooked in and don't even know what's happening anymore (in the colloquial good way). As for favorite moment in the comic, I'm cheating and taking it from an extra rather than the main story. And it's where Soviet Sam dreams about what itd be like if Money Man was still alive...where theyre retired and arguing about communism and capitalism. It. hurt. my. heart. And I legit had to stop reading for a moment because I was so sad. As for favorite character, I'm with @snuffysam (Super Galaxy Knights) on the Soviet Sam train. I love his arc of trying to be better and just constantly taking a step back so many times he takes a step forward. So just on an emotional level I'm 100% on board with his redemption path. As for characters interacting the most, probably Captain Spectacular and Dr. Rocket. I love the intense history that feeds into their every action, and I love the fine line they walk between enemies and friends. It makes all the interactions very interesting.
In regards to the art, I mostly just love how clean and sharp it is. It makes everything pop really well and brings that extra bit of clarity I feel really sells a comic. I'm gonna talk about themes more another day, but for now I'm giving an honorable mention to the themes of nature vs. nurture that are there in the round about way because of usual parallel world shenanigans. I feel this comic brings a strong game with that idea that life could've made us very different, without bashing the reader over the head with it. As for the story's overall content, I like the blend of superhero tropes and the unique premise. Even though I've seen plenty of the things covered before, just that unique aspect of all the heroes being older and retired/not retired really puts everything in a new light. Which honestly, I think this is the comic's strength. It knows how to combine the best of the old and new that makes for a relatable story that manages to have enough unique elements it feels more than just a superhero paint job.
Comic Tea Party
DISCUSSION PROMPTS – PART 2
9. Which common superhero trope have you enjoyed seeing in the comic so far, and what about it did you enjoy? In totality, in what ways do you see the comic using its premise to play around with common features of those sorts of stories?
10. What do you think the comic’s overall message is regarding age and “being too old for something?” What moment do you think demonstrates this the best, and how does this change your thinking on getting older?”
11. What moment in the comic interested you the most in regards to the themes of redemption? Do you think the super villains deserve to be redeemed? What do you think the comic says in general about mistakes that we make in our life?
12. Given the comic’s focus on relationships, which relationships do you like overall? How has learning the past history of characters’ relationships changed your opinion as the story progresses? Also, which change from the past to present have you been intrigued by?
Don’t feel inspired by the prompts? Feel free to discuss anything else that interested you!
RebelVampire
Not so much in the story, but the trope I liked the most was Captain Spectacular's backstory regarding his relationships between Spy Gal and Star and that time that everyone one though Captain Spectacular and Star were dead. Superheros being dead but then not is common, but I found this one interesting because not only was it just backstory, but it has tangible present consequences. Which is something I really like the comic does with the tropes. They actually have consequential weight rather than feel there to not kill someone off. In regards to age, I think the comic's overall message is just that it's never too late to do something. Like Soviet Sam is pretty old, and yet here he is on his cool redemption path. Which really I think the the moment that demonstrates this the best is when the younger heroes don't really do shit and all the old folks jump in cause they won't let the world fall apart. As for the themes of redemption, just all of Soviet Sam's arc, again cause, I really like that his path is difficult cause he can't only step forward but steps back as well. As for whether super villains deserve to be redeemed, well, certainly in fiction. Which I think that's important for fiction cause I think it does help us believe that even if we screw up in life, we can always come back from it. There's lots of good relationships, so it's hard to pick one. I think I'm gonna go with Captain Spectacular and his relationship with Spy Gal, if only because that's the one that's most affected constantly by past history. I think learning Spy Gal's backstory affected me the most though, since I really saw her in a new light and saw more concretely how sort of practical and passionate she is about relationships.
Chop Brockly
I just want to say that I've enjoyed so much the comments that have been shared so far. Marc and I put so much love and attention to detail into the comic, and the themes of redemption and history are a big part of that. I love that that's what's getting highlighted so much. Soviet Sam was a character was not originally intended for the main story, but he proved such a fan favorite from the Origins stories that I had to work him in. Now, I can't imagine it without him.
I look forward to reading more thoughts, and if anyone has any questions for me, feel free to drop them here!
Joichi [Hybrid Dolls]
Sure thing, I'm late to the chat so checking it out.

DISCUSSION PROMPTS – PART 3
13. What are you most looking forward to seeing in regards to the comic?
14. Any final words of encouragement for the comic?
Don’t feel inspired by the prompts? Feel free to discuss anything else that interested you!
RebelVampire
What I look forward to seeing in the comic right now is how everyone is gonna deal with Jerry. For those who havent gotten that far I won't spoil it, but I think it'll be interesting to find out once focus goes back there. As for final words of encouragement, they're just that I really loved this comic more than I actually thought I would from the start and I just can't wait to see what happens to all the characters, even if death awaits them just around the corner.
