My genshin teams are full of five star characters and all for what, i am so weak

is it worth it for a 5* weapon for ganyu? for example i know hu tao gets an insane dmg boost when you use homa instead of, say, r5 dragons bane. but with ganyu i have r5 crescent and im not sure if i should pull for a weapon or not (and... i havent had the best luck in the past with weapons either.)

Weapon Banners are rarely worth the investment, and for the majority of players, you are better off investing those pulls into acquiring more characters.

No, you will not output optimal DPS without a character's best-in-slot, but hypercarries like Hu Tao and Ganyu still have extremely high damage output without their BiS weapons.

Thankfully, to date, there has not been a single character released so far that couldn't be decently built with F2P weapon options.

Invest in your supports, get the best artifacts you can, learn about team compositions and your rotations. That will be more valuable to you in the long run.

sigh, idk who to pull for on my second account. Not Xiao, I love him, but he has the same ascension materials as Hu Tao and building her is a nightmare. And he’s being pulled for on the main. The boss is just tedious. Maybe Ganyu? But I hate bow characters,,, she’s so pretty though. And her physical is???? Wow???? Zhongli, eh,,,, I’m not a huge fan of having such a powerful shield?? I’ve never liked his play style either. Idk why. I think he’s overrated as a playable character. I love Zhongli, just not playing him. I don’t want another polearm character dps because I literally have two already and I don’t the resources for a third polearm to be built for a dps,,, so no shenhe,,,
