If those you leave behind truly love you, your trinkets and trash will be their most prized possessions. And even if it's not treasures for them, or you leave behind a mess, it's not wrong to surround yourself with trinkets that make you happy during your life, because you deserve happiness just as much as anyone else. So long as your environment is a healthy and happy one for you that makes you feel comforted? That's all that matters.

#ive lost all my grandparents #i still treasure random things that i got from their stuff after they passed #i have trinkets from my spouse's grandma that i got after she passed #theyre some of my most prized possessions because those are the kind of things that are irreplaceable in this world #will they be prized by anyone else after im gone and my spouse is gone?#maybe... maybe not #but for us? they mean the world. and thats what being human is to me
