look we’re rapidly spiraling into fascism and dark dark days and you won’t catch me having political optimism for this evil fucking empire ever again. but nights like these do remind us that the median american loves abortion and marijuana and isn’t actually buying into the insane wave of transphobic hate campaigns. and that republicans are weird freaks with terrible ideas that the majority of people in this place genuinely do not like and well that’s not nothing.
