i was in the shower thinking for the millionth time in the past several months about how good ao no sumika is (tatsuya kitani is my hero)

i say ao no sumika because i was rambling on twitter about how the main chorus “but even so, our blue still lives”/“our blue is still clear” directly contrasts with the entirety of the hidden inventory/premature death arc, which details exactly why and how their blue (spring of youth) died horrifically and tragically

and so the only reason it still lives is because of gojo’s love for suguru transcends time and space and the gift of the gods

and i do like the headcanon that six eyes has somewhat immortalized that time in gojo’s head and never really lets him forget it and sometimes he can just fully immerses himself in those memories

so yeah anyway ao no sumika playing when he finally kicks the bucket would be great because finally. finally their blue actually does still live

they’re back in their high school selves and free to live out the rest of their afterlife in that blue spring

it’s finally clear blur skies…

and “no prayer or word could ever reach you/no matter how close they could get to you” see it’s insane because only in the afterlife do gojo’s words finally reach suguru.
