FINALLY I made a character sheet for my tfsona!!!
Name: Sunfall (they/them)
An independent, neutral medic with a savior complex the size of Cybertron. Sunfall is confident, determined, and just a bit unhinged. They're willing to treat anyone and do anything to save a patient... even when it's experimental or ethically dubious. Originally a seeker, they've reformatted themselves into a frame that is (according to them) more suited for a medic.
Their signature procedure is transplanting a dying patient's spark into their own body to keep them alive during treatment. Sometimes they bite and tear the patient's spark out with their teeth, which has earned them the nickname of "sparkeater". On battlefields Sunfall can be seen with a face smeared with energon and a chest filled with sparks.
Likes: a challenge, saving others, making political connections
Dislikes: failure, being ordered around, Shockwave (Sunfall and Shockwave have legendary scientific beef that spans thousands of publications and academic conferences)

A small introduction on how these two met in my lore. It’s mainly a place holder until I flesh it out more but this is what immediately popped into my head. As such, it’s a mess and not edited. Forgive me.
The two dragons above are based and named after the characters from Naruto. I’ve always wanted to write stories of them as a couple but never got around to it. It’s much more freeing when I put them in different realms and tweak their personalities a bit to soothe the horrible romantic I am.
He doesn’t mean to stare. Honestly he doesn’t.
He’s just confused.
He sees her eyes start to dart around and he quickly averts his gaze. He can’t tell yet if she is merely a traveler, or if she is a new addition to the clan.
But regardless, the way she carries herself, he doesn’t think he’s every seen such a…mousey Ridgeback in his life. He’s seen reserved Ridgebacks, yes, but this? Her hunched back, and low head scream PREY. His nostrils flare, eyes narrowing, as he picks up her scent, she even smells of fear. She tenses and he knows he’s been caught but honestly, it’s just, so hard not to stare. Her head snaps in his direction eyes quickly darting to his and she lets out a small petrified wheeze, before scurrying quickly away from him and towards the trees. He wasn’t aware a Ridgeback could scurry if he hadn’t just seen it himself. He snorts, trying to eliminate the smell of fear from his nostrils, he files the odd female back in his mind and continues on his way.
————-
He sees her again as he’s passing through the main carven, she’s off to the side conversing with Sunfall. While her posture is not as hunched in as when he first saw her, he can still tell she’s anxious. His brother notices what he’s looking at and quickly informs him on the latest development in the clan.
“Strange isn’t she? She’s the newest member, she’s interested in healing arts so Thane directed her to Sunfall.”
Remembering his mistake from last time Kisame quickly turns his head and leads the way out of the Den, his brother following behind him.
————
He is surprised how quickly she’s changed when he next sees her. He had gone to the healing ward for salves, his hide covered in gashes and puncture wounds from his latest fight. He generally has a good recovery rate, but a few of these gashes are too deep to wait for his body to heal and will need tending to so they don’t get infected. Sun fall greets him with a gentle smile.
“Hello Kisame, the usual I presume?”
He nods turning his body and lifting his wings out of the way to let her access the damage. Sunfall hums in contemplation, her magic flowing out and probing the wounds to better understand the depth of them. After a few moments her magic slides away, Sunfall giving a resolute nod before looking back to him.
“Not near as bad as last time, I’ll have these cleaned up in no time.” She pauses, her head turning back to the other part of her cave filled to the brim with ointments, medicinal herbs and other such things a healer dragon needs. He notices her hesitation and addresses it.
“Is something wrong?”
She turns back to him, eyes contemplative before smiling softly, “Not at all, I merely thought this would be good practice for my apprentice if you would allow it. I will be overseeing her of course.”
He is not the most patient fellow and he’d rather just have Sunfall heal it herself and be on his way. But his mind instantly recalls the meek ridgeback and his curiosity is instantly piqued.
He smirks, letting out a small chuckle, “Ah yes, the meek little ridgeback. How is she fairing? I never did get her name.”
Sunfall seems surprised, “Her name is Hinata, have you met?”
Kisame shakes his head, “I’ve only seen her in passing, I don’t think anyone could help but notice her.”
His meaning is not lost on Sunfall, her eyes narrow and neck lengthens, the mother hen in her coming to the for front.
“Do not mistake meekness for weakness Kisame. I assure you, she has many talents and I will not tolerate you making her miserable and frightened for your own amusement.”
He waves his paw in a dismissive gesture, not in the mood for her protectiveness or lectures. “Send her in then, I won’t raise a claw against her, I simply want to go back to my den and relax so the sooner this is over with the better for all involved.”
Sunfall isn’t impressed and cocks a brow ridge at him, “And you’ll mind your tongue?”
He sighs in impatience “Yes, can we move along then?”
Sunfall regards him for a moment longer before heading towards the back of her workroom, disappearing for a moment before coming back thru with Hinata in tow. Kisame watches as they approach, being slightly pleased to note that Hinata posture is much more normal than when he first saw her, more befitting of a ridgeback. They shuffle over to his side as Sunfall explains to Hinata what she’ll be doing. Kisame listens with half an ear his focus on Hinata as he silently goes about studying the timid ridgeback.
“Hinata, this is Kisame Hoshigaki. He will be a familiar face here, considering his line of work.”
At the mention of his name his gaze drifts to Sunfall for a moment before he locks eyes with Hinata. She bows her head, her voice so soft he has to strain to hear her.
“Pleased to meet you Mr. Hoshigaki.”
His lips pull back into a smile, sharp tipped teeth showing as he returns her address, “Pleased to meet you as well Miss Hinata, but just Kisame is fine.”
He watches in slight amusement as her brief courage abandons her and she breaks eye contact with him. Her wings ruffling and pulling closer to her body, Sunfall takes notice and immediately redirects her students focus.
“Shall we get started dear?”
Hinata blushes and nods, shuffling closer to Kisame’s side as Sunfall murmurs encouragingly to her student. “Now remember, gather your magic closely but don’t release it all at once, yes that’s it, slow and gentle.”
Kisame lies still, fighting the impulse to turn his head and stare the young female down so instead he focuses on her magical signature. He’s made a point to learn and know every member of his clans magical signature. He feels Hinata’s magic gently probe his wounds before slowly stitching them together. He silently feels out the characteristics to her magical signature, filing it away in his memory as Sunfall continues to aid and instruct Hinata. The progress is slow, but he keeps his peace until the last cut is sealed. He feels Hinata’s soft magic slowly slide away. He turns to look and is surprised to see no jagged wounds, normally Sunfall has to step in to finish the detailed work at the end but it seems she was right to say Hinata had talent.
“ Well done Hinata, I told you you have a natural talent for healing, you will gain speed and control the further we go along but this was an excellent first try.”
Hinata blushes and shyly looks down as she mumbles “Thank you Sunfall.”
Kisame quickly gets to his feet, no longer wishing to waste anymore time, “Thank you for taking the time to heal me ladies, I unfortunately have more work to do so if you’ll excuse me I’ll be leaving.”
Sunfall smiles and huffs after him “I know I’m wasting my breath but try and stay out of trouble.”
He turns back to her, showing his fangs as he gives a maniacal grin’ “i would never.”
Slight movement refocuses his attention on Hinata, her eyes meeting his briefly before quickly sliding away, her posture curling slightly inward as she softly speaks, “T-thank you for letting me heal you.”
Kisame lets out a small chuckle, making his way to the exit as he calls back to her.
“Don’t mention it, I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of each other soon, you’ll be a master healer yet. Until next time.”
He spreads his wings, and with a few strong beats is gone —————
He is a dragon of action, and while he is capable of strategy, most of the time he simply follows impulses without thought. This is one of those times and he already knows he’s made a mistake. He had brushed his head against her cheek, a sign of many meanings in different contexts but his intention was not lost on her. She does not move, merely stares wide eyed? Her breath is quickly escalating, her sides starting to heave and Kisame quickly tries to repair the damage he’s done.
“Hinata, I’m -“
She doesn’t give him the chance to finish. She rears back, hesitating for only a second before turning and bolting. Her wings unfurl and with a powerful jump and few hard flaps she’s flying away from him. He doesn’t pursue her, knowing pursuing her would only further panic her. He would be lying if said he wasn’t disappointed by her response, but he has no one to blame but himself. He knows Hinata well enough to know she doesn’t respond well to surprises and despite how much progress he’s made with the timid ridgeback, she is still fearful and quick to retreat in the face of something she deems frightful. She has iimproved so much in past months, quickly gaining confidence and charming all those that came in contact with her, that in a small moment he had forgotten her insecurities. With her soft laugh and easy smile, he had forgotten himself and his impulsive nature reared it’s ugly head. Taking a moment and looking at from her perspective he’s not surprised at all by her response and that drags him down even more. She’s not the sort of dragon who will cut him off entirely for one mistake but he knows it will take her a while to work out her feelings and shyness before feeling comfortable enough to let him approach. He sighs before making his way towards the clan, thinking on the best ways to at least apologize to her without further isolating her from him.
————
She won’t meet his eyes, and her posture is timid again, he hates it. He had given her a few days before trying to approach her to apologize, but she quickly vacated the area whenever he drew near and he did not pursue her. So he bid his time and now a two weeks have passed and he’s grateful that she isn’t running from him but seeing her in this state isn’t much better. He feels a spark of annoyance at seeing her revert back to her old self only because he knows how strong and confident she can be. He internally shakes it away, ‘This isn’t about you.’ He reminds himself, she does not speak or look him in the eye but he doesn’t need her to.
“ I’m sorry.”
Her eyes make brief contact with his before they drop away, her tail tip swishes and her claws shuffle in anxiety but he continues.
“I was selfish. It is true that I’m an impulsive dragon but that is no excuse for my behavior. I sincerely apologize for overstepping boundaries and causing you any discomfort. It won’t happen again.”
Her eyes meet his again briefly as she speaks, her voice soft and hesitant. “I-Im s-sorry as well. It wasn’t right to just run away like that, but I-“
Her words fail her and he can see the frustration in her inability to communicate. He reassures her the best he can, this interaction more than what he had planned and hoped for.
“ I know” He rumbles softly, afraid to ruin the small progress they’ve made. “ I understand Hinata, it’s alright. I know you well enough to know what I did wasn’t the right way to go about things. I knew it and yet I lost sight of it. You’ve come so far in the months you’ve been here and I’m no good at planning far ahead. I forgot myself and clearly overstepped your boundaries. I hope you can forgive me.”
She smiles softly, her posture relaxing slightly and her tail calming.
“I’ll forgive you, if only you forgive me for my foolish behavior as well.”
The hope that surges in his chest is ridiculous. This is more than he hoped for, and now that they’ve come far and he has an inkling that he hasn’t murdered a future with her in cold blood, he is eager to set everything back in place.
He nods to her , his lips lifting but not a full smile, making sure to hide his teeth.”Call it even then?”
She nods back and they both share a small smile before he turns and leaves her to her herbs. ————
It takes time to get their friendship back to a comfortable place, back to what is was before he impulsively kissed her. They enjoy the small moments they have together, for with increased activity outside their borders he was gone for longer than he liked and she was busy helping Sunfall and learning her healing arts. His longing to see her grows stronger each day that passes and when he’s finally home and she eagerly welcomes him back with his favorite meal as a home coming gift, he feels as if he’s somehow already in the future he hopes for them. He remains a gentleman, never acting on his fierce impulsive desires when he’s near her. He resolved long ago after the first mistake that she would have to be the one to invite him to pursue something deeper with her. He knew it was not in her nature to be forward or initiate but he was not willing to undo all the progress they had made once again. If she wanted him she would have to show him. He was confident she would find her own way to show him if that’s something she wanted, which he hoped with all his being that she would
