Without room in his ship for multiple students, Luke tags along, not expecting the sad Mando's ride Boba Fett (w h a t) to show up and offer the poor guy use of his bacta tank; well, soon-to-be-his. He just has to kill its current owner, Bib Fortuna, first. You know. On Tatooine(WHAT!!). Meanwhile, on Tattooine: Cobb Vanth gets the nagging feeling his life is about to become much more stressful.)

A Heavy Thing (KOTOR, amnesiac Revan works a shitty food service job on Taris and definitely isn't a Jedi/Sith/Soldier, I mean, clearly. Slice of life becomes tragedy becomes adventure becomes mystery becomes ??? RevanxCanderousxCarth DON'T LOOK AT ME)

Life, Happening (The Shining/Doctor Sleep introspective piece on Danny Torrance, life & death, what it means to be gone, and not gone.)

Led To Water (Mandalorian, Din takes off the armor having broken his Creed and, unsure what to do next, returns to Kuiil's homestead to brood and sweat manfully through his existential crisis; his friends help him through it.)

Mando'ad'ika (Mandalorian/Original SW movies, The Mandalorian is taken into custody and now Leia has to deal with a sweet but stressed frog lady, a green gremlin with too much Force power, and this intimidating tin can who won't budge. Since Han laughed at her, she decides to make it his problem, too.)

Time Travel, & Other Ways To Die (Mandalorian/SW:Bounty Hunter video game, Din & Jango centric, whilst trying to get to Grogu on his magical big rock, Din & Grogu end up chucked through time onto an outlaw space station. Jango Fett's no good very bad day begins. Coincidentally, it coincides with Din Djarin's SUPER no good very bad day. They most assuredly do not bond over this.)

I am, or was. (Dragon Age: Inquisition, a spirit takes an interest in Solas after he helps it in the Fallow Mire and begins following him around like a lost puppy. Which would be cute, if it weren't possessing more and more alarming vessels to do so. The Andrastians are starting to get a bit twitchy.)

Rookie, Shiny, Soldier, Spy (Mandalorian/Clone Wars, Din Djarin accidental time travel into the Clone Wars AU. Caught without his 'gam on a battle field and forced once again to wear trooper armor, he is Not Impressed--and why do all these guys look like Boba?)

This Prodigal Son (Hades/Dragon Age: Inq, Zagreus goes through the wrong Chaos portal. Magister Alexius finds a powerful spirit in the Fade and, as is his way, decides fuck it, we ball. Also his way, it doesn't go very well for him.)

WIP Word Ask Meme, do it for the words "kiss" and "touch"

ohoho these ones are fun. okay.

so, my current chapter of my kotor novelization has neither in it, it's not my chapter in a couple other things.... "touch" comes up twice in a oneshot i'm writing with one of my swtor characters:

Thanaton’s eyes sharpen on her and Ktis hastily tightens her shields, although she’s sure there’s no way he could’ve known what she’s thinking; he’s a seer, not an exceptional telepath, and she’s always been able to feel him in her thoughts before. No, it’s more likely that she’s been standing here watching him too long without the proper obsequiences, and he has something to say to her, but won’t until she acknowledges him. She bites back a sigh, bows exactly the proper amount from a lord to a Dark Lord her direct superior and no further, and when she rises, she keeps her gaze on the twisting tattoo on his cheek instead of his eyes (he gets touchy about eye contact from his subordinates, unless he’s the one who initiated it). Sometimes, when his face shifts just right, she thinks she can see the edges of something hidden beneath the crimson ink, warped from age and exposure - something rough and scarred that looks uncomfortably similar to the scars burned into her own family’s slaves. She’s never dared to mention it, or even to research it or him; some things aren’t worth the price of knowing, even when you’re all but third in line for Ancient Knowledge.

The red sands, the wind, the sun-scorched sky and towering crags and cliffs, the statues that touch the clouds - it’d felt like coming home for the first time, like finally knowing what it truly means to be Sith in more than just religion. A great honor, her acolyte group had said, when she’d found out she was due to transfer there, to train in the ancient tombs that are the closest thing the Sith have to holy places.

in my hp/kotor/swtor fusion, touch comes up in my section of the current in-progress chapter:

“Good.” Andromache’s smile softens and she reaches out to briefly touch Revan’s cheek, then squeeze Alek’s shoulder in a rare public display of- it’s affection, it has to be. The woman shows affection far more frequently than Revan would’ve expected from their first meeting - she clearly cares deeply about those she considers her family, even if the way she shows it is different than Revan remembers from her dad in the few hazy memories she has of her childhood before the orphanage - but very little of that care remains visible when she’s in the eyes of the general public. It must be something to do with being the face of the most powerful family in the country; politics would likely be a nightmare if all and sundry knew her emotional preferences.

(The wards at the manor aren’t blood magic, she knows, or at least thinks - the Fetts, as far as she knows, aren’t one of the Sacred families who practice blood magic very actively - but they are bloodline magic, feeding off the lord and the heir, only controllable by those two to any extent. Anyone with Fett blood would be able to manipulate them, at least somewhat, but nothing like the magically-acknowledged lord and heir can; Revan and Alek, as wards of the family, have barely any control at all. When compared with the Hogwarts wards, which respond to her touch like she’s one of its professors, well- it’s not much of a comparison at all.)

50. The year is somewhere around 2001-ish. The Return of the King is in theatres. 12-year-old Kel and her bestie have taken a running leap into Middle-earth and are completely in love with Legolas Thranduilion. They’ve been left unsupervised on a computer and are scouring the Internet for anything and everything connected to the Lord of the Rings, and find a site (... I want to say Moon Books? Green Books? Something like that?) with a bunch of stories on it that weren’t written by JRR Tolkien/Peter Jackson/anyone else official. The stories are enthralling to two impressionable young would-be-elves (and both of us were shipping Faramir/Eowyn to the MAX. Jawa’s very first OTP!).

Fast forward to late 2008/early 2009. Kel is in Grade 12 (senior year of high school), and having established her reputation as the class introvert, takes to spending her lunch periods in the library on the computers. With Facebook being blocked by the school servers, she idly starts looking for those same LOTR stories. It is then that she learns of the term “fan fiction”, and winds up tripping and falling into FFN’s LOTR archives, and the rest, as they say, is history. (My very first fic wound up being a *le confessional sigh* dread Girl-Falls-Into-Middle-Earth Tenth Walker story. But I think, despite the hardcore Legolas crush, the character started gravitating toward Boromir?)

39. Oooooh. Hmmm. I’ve been told by professors/other grown-up readers that I have a very strong voice, and my writing style tends to be pretty consistent (and one of my sociology profs always got a kick out of reading the dry wit and snark I’d throw into my papers. Like at uni grad she was eager to meet my mum and see just where I had learned to write like that. XD). As far as fic goes, I’ve been told I’m an emotive writer and seem to be good at conveying emotions and feelings and making readers cry! I’m working on the descriptive skills and writing out combat. :D

28. I would probably say Drastic Measures, since that’s my biggest project that’s eating my soul right now. There’s some one-shots that could inspire an artistic mind though -- The Orgus Maneuver and Memento Mori are the ones that come to mind. (It’s not published yet, but @andveryginger and I, with @corey-067‘s help, have been writing out Reanden and Mairen’s wedding, and that’s another one I could see art for!) As for what the art might be -- for Drastic Measures, I’m not sure! I’ve had a WIP on the backburner for aaaages of Theron and Xaja escaping the Spire, but there could be scenes from them fleeing Rishi with Doc, or on Dromund Kaas, or Voss, or something. (Not gonna lie, I would loooooove to see art of Jace punching a hole through Saresh’s desk. >.>)

Believe it or not, I was not expecting the Theron romance in Shadow of Revan to hit me out of left field like it did. Initially I had played Xaja through that story like “it’s an NPC like the ones on Makeb where you’ll never see them again so meh”, and that lasted until... Manaan? So yeah now Theron/Jedi Knight is my biggest current OTP. XD 

I’ve come to the realization that Jedi Consular/Zenith is a fantastic ship (BIOWARE, LET US ROMANCE ZENITH) and I dig it. :D I also like unconventional pairings -- @kunoichi-ume‘s Jedi Knight/Torian is a delightful ship that I would never have imagined, but I dig (and may have inspired Korin/Kira over in Taerich’verse!). 

Outside of SWTOR... hmmm. Thorin/Bilbo in the Hobbit was not a ship I had ever even got a whiff of in the book, but the movie version had me shipping it hard. And when I started casually watching Fairy Tail, I wound up shipping Lucy/Leo. And I’m rather digging a Poe/Rey ship in the SW Sequel Trilogy!
