one of the reasons xy is my favorite in the series is that I was in my sophomore year of college when it came out, and I remember playing it like crazy with my roommate, and always streetpassing the boys across the hall, and just this feeling of camaraderie that was there was so nice

#the only closest memory i have to that is in gen 4 when my friend and i connected in the union room #and were using the shitty in-game mic to talk #:( scarvio's multiplayer capability makes me want to play with my friends #but i dont really have anyone to play with right now...#every time i'm reminded of the time around xy's release i just get really nostalgic #i bet a lot of you younguns were still kids when xy came out............#i have other nice video game memories from sophomore year of college...#like replaying twilight princess and wind waker #and the minute i finished twilight princess and the credits were rolling we had a fire drill ToT #i thought i was gonna miss the final cutscene with midna
