i am once again regretting not reading dante’s inferno for ap lit like i was supposed to
#personal#the ap lit chronicles#<- like greeting an old friend <3 anyway. UGH#i want to read hellbent but i want to reread ninth house first but i don’t want to reread ninth house without having read the divine comedy#bc i don’t want all the references flying over my head again BUT also i don’t want to read the divine comedy rn <3#i have my copy of the inferno on my lap rn and there are over a hundred pages of endnotes that is insane methinks#maybeeee i will just read tsh rn. or catch up on les mis bc i am like a week behind oops#for the record the inferno is the ONLY ‘assigned’ reading i have ever not completed (assigned in scare quotes bc technically i was part of a#group of ppl who Proposed the inferno for a choice reading assignment and still did not do it) bc at the time ap calc was utterly kicking my#and everyone else’s asses and i was miserable. and it is also the only assigned reading that has come back to haunt me like this. die die
