So here is my thing: Dwight, obsessed w Michael who while really wanting friends finds his affection off putting (yes this is also bc Michael only wants to be liked by people who hate him but hey ho layers).

Also clearly obsessed w Jim. Who puts more thought and effort into pranking a colleague than anything else really?? Dwight <- → Jim.

To me Jim is so oblivious to it and so is Pam (who for my own well being is not into jim in this scenario lol) . And one Day Pam isn’t there so he talks about his Dwight Plans to someone else in the office (maybe andy) who just goes “haha uhn.. quite a lot of effort you’re putting into that there tuna” and gives a Look and Jim is just like 👁️👄👁️

And then when pam is back talks to her and says something like “so glad you’re back andy got all weird when i talked about pranking dwight and gave me this look” and she asks what did andy say and when jim tells her she also gets a look on her face. And Jim says “what?? Why are you being weird now beasly” and she just busies herself with work……….

Like Oblivious Idiots™ who just take ages to realise and then ages to actually accept it and even longer to bring it up / do something about it (probably with pam / someone else meddling!!! Maybe michael overhears jim/pam and then goes about it in the worst way, like the ‘rumours’ episode)….

Anyway. As you can see it’s mostly just vibe based haha, have not actually thought about it

Dude i love this. Lowkey on my last rewatch of the office i got really endeared to Andy because hes so stupid yet he never stops trying. 🤧 Andy being the dose of reality is so good. I see your vision i think theres something so there. He is motivated for Dwight even when he isnt for his own job. Lowkey it almost reads like, from this angle, maybe Jim only stays there FOR dwight???😵‍💫

God the oblivious yet dedicated stuff gets me EVERY TIME. codependency.....slight malice.....sexual tension............ a barn scene where jim gets in over his head but Dwight asked him over because he kinda wanted to see Jim frazzled???? Dude!!!! Shit, you've lowkey changed my opinion on Jim/Dwight. Still doesn't top my Pam/Dwight. My other specu ship (ive never read or written or drawn any) is Andy/Darryl but I just think that era where Andy really wanted to be Darryls friend was cute.
