Everyone thought that Starlo was only missing, including Ceroba. It was only when sunflowers started growing where he died did Ceroba piece together that he was dead :/ She was the only one who knew that Starlo carried around sunflower seeds and there’s no other explanation for why sunflowers randomly started growing in the desert

(I also headcanon that monster dust works as great fertilizer so…yea)
